12-30-2016 Ladies! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you’ll enjoy New Years. The items for this week: #1. I received an update yesterday (Thursday). Please remember that these updates are uploaded to the website Friday morning by 9, therefore we’d prefer that you update the form after you’ve read this (on Friday morning). If that day needs to be adjusted, just let us know. #2. The update yesterday stated that you had one volunteer. The one I received last week stated that you had three. What happened? Please let me know in one of the “questions” entry form. #3. Please remember that the only volunteers who count are those who have filled out the registration form. You’ll have to trust me on this one, verbal agreements are practically worthless. A lot of those people will back out before the program begins if they haven’t filled out a form. It happens in every town, every year. Please carry those forms with you! #4. Please let me know who the “website person” is at the school, and I will set up a meeting with her to guide her through the webpage building process. I know school is still out, but if you provide me with a name and email, I’ll reach out to her on the first day of school. #5. Dawn, the Principal and Police Chief all agreed to find you three volunteers for the program. This week, reach out to them and “hold them to it.” If you email them the form, they can make a few copies and get those folks registered. That would take your volunteer numbers from 1 to 10 in just one week’s time. Thank you!
