14:00–15:30 SESSION 9: Information, Education, Communication: Building the Toolbox for the Knowledgeable Society This plenary session and roundtable starts the process of providing guidance in the development of training tools, educational materials, school curricula support, equipment and innovative broadcast programming on climate change and DRR issues. Practical examples from BBC Media Action and Radio Netherlands Training Center add to how, with limited resources, broadcasters can ‘make a difference’ and provide important services to listeners and viewers in terms of knowledge of climate change and DRR issues. The session includes an introduction to the ABU’s new Smart Community Centers concept, which facilitiates affordable access to applicable information and education.It also an inspiration from the IFRC outreach campaign to link communities around the globe.

Dr Krissada Raungarreerat, Director General, ThaiPBSDr Krissada was selected as a new Director General of Thai Public Broadcasting Service by Thai PBS’s Board of Governors in January 2016. He has extensive experience in civic service. Prior to his appointment at the helm of the national public service broadcaster of Thailand, he was the Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs (March 2007 – January 2008), Deputy CEO of ThaiHealth from 2001-2010 and subsequently CEO of the ThaiHealth. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry,

Chulalongkorn University in 1989, received a Master degree of Computer Science also from Chulalongkorn University in 1994, and was awarded the Advanced Certificate Course in Politics and Governance in Democratic Systems for Executives from King Prajadhipok’s Institute in 2009.

Anothai Udomsilp, Director of Academic Institute, ThaiPBSHaving worked in various areas for more than 35 years, Anothai joined Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) as Director of Academic Institute in 2009. He is responsible for Media Research and Development, Training, and the Operation of Information Centre of Thai PBS. His particular interest includes Quality Management and Branding for Media Organisation, Media and Information Literacy, Gender Equality in Media, and Civic Education. Anothai was a chief organizer of the Asia Media Summit in 2012 hosted by Thai

PBS and is responsible for the organization of the 2nd ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction, Krabi, 12 – 14 May 2016. An Outstanding Alumni Awardee from California State University Sacramento, Anothai was also granted an Outstanding Government Official Award and a Distinction Award from the High-level Government Executives Programme of the Thai Civil Servant Commission. In 2014, he was selected as Chairman of Strategic Planning Team of the AIBD.

Dr Javad Mottaghi, Secretary-General, Asia-Pacific Broadcasting UnionDr Javad Mottaghi is the Secretary-General of the ABU. Before joining the ABU, he was Director of the AIBD for 12 years. He has 35 years of national and international broadcasting experience in news and programming. Dr Mottaghi holds a PhD Degree from the University of Teesside in England, a Master Degree in Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tehran Sharif University of Technology. Dr Mottaghi won the Elizabeth R Award for Exceptional Contribution to Public Service

Broadcasting. He was the Director of Radio and TV Sports Department of IRIB for 18 years. His other positions were Director International Relations, TV Social Department, News Department as well as Advisor to the President of IRIB on Sports Coverage. Dr Mottaghi was Adviser to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, the Executive Commissioner, Qeshm Free Zone and Vice Minister of Iran for Sports and Federations from 1989-1992.

Satinder Bindra, Principal Director, Department of External Relations, Asian Development BankSatinder Bindra is the Principal Director, Department of External Relations (DER) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since August 2013. As head of external relations, Mr Bindra is responsible for the corporate communications, media relations, publishing, information disclosure, and web strategies of the Manila-based multilateral development bank. DER’s key priority is to support ADB’s overarching mandate of reducing poverty in the Asia and Pacific Region, home to two-thirds of the world’s poor, through inclusive

growth, environmentally sustainable growth and regional integration. Prior to joining ADB, Mr Bindra was the Spokesperson and Director of Communications at the United Nations Development Programme in New York, USA, and in Nairobi, Kenya. Before joining UNEP, Mr. Bindra was a Special Correspondent at CBS News in San Francisco and the Bureau Chief/Senior Correspondent at CNN in New Delhi. Mr Bindra, a Canadian national, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Oxford University; and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in the Economic History of China/Japan and Indian and European History respectively, both from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.

Mohamed Asif, Chief Operating Officer, VMEDIA Island Broadcasting CompanyMohamed Asif is a prominent figure in the broadcasting industry in Maldives. He has served in broadcasting for over 2 decades, including 22 years in Public Service Broadcasting and 3 years in Commercial Broadcasting. During his long tenure at state broadcaster in Maldives, he held a variety of different positions including Assistant Director General (Programmes) and Deputy Director General at Television Maldives, and the Chief Operating Officer at Maldives Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), now known as Public Service

Media (PSM). He now serves as the Chief Operating Officer at VMEDIA, one of the first private media entities to operate in the Maldives. Asif was the recipient of the prestigious National Award in the area of information dissemination presented by the Government of Maldives in recognition of his valuable services to the media industry in Maldives. Asif is currently also serving as President of Maldives Media Council which operates to preserve, promote and maintain freedom of press in Maldives. He is also a vocal gender champion campaigning for empowering women in and through the media.

Elisabeth Eide, Professor (Ph D) of Journalism Studies, Dept. of Journalism and Media Studies; Oslo and Akershus University College. Vice President of PEN NorwayElisabeth Eide has worked as a journalist/academic in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan and has edited/written a large number of books, but also academic articles and chapters. She is the author of five novels. Among her latest publications are three anthologies on global journalism and climate change (2016, forthcoming; 2012; 2010, co-editor of and contributor to all), as well as an anthology on gender and

journalism (2015). She has received the Communication Award (2008) as well as the Honorary Award (2014) from the Norwegian Association of Media Researchers.

Russell Isaac, Managing Director, Sports Media Services LtdRussell Isaac is Managing Director of Sports Media Services Ltd - one of Wales’ most successful production companies producing sports and documentary programming for worldwide distribution. In the late 70’s as a MA research student with the Social Science Research Council, he joined the world of Broadcasting in 1980 and subsequently worked for ITV and BBC TV and Radio in news and current affairs as a reporter/presenter before becoming an independent programme producer in the 1990’s. As a broadcast consultant for the

Thomson Foundation, OSCE, the British Foreign Office and ABU his projects have involved conflict reporting and EWB in over 30 countries for organizations such as Al Jazeera, IRIB, SABC, Georgia State Channel and many others.

Allan Dow, Regional Communication Officer (Asia-Pacific)A Canadian-British dual-national, Allan Dow has served as FAO’s Regional Communication Officer for Asia and the Pacific, based in Bangkok, Thailand since 2013. Prior to that, Allan was a Communications and Advocacy Officer for the UN’s International Labour Organization (ILO), based in Bangkok, from 2003-2013. Prior to ILO, he worked for UNICEF as an Emergency Communications Officer in Iraq in 2003. Allan’s media career began in Canada in the late 1980’s, as a radio news reporter with the Canadian Broadcasting

Corporation, CBC. He moved to London, England in 1993 where he continued to work for CBC and BBC until 2000 when he moved over to CTV, as their London TV News Reporter. He has also worked in Southeast Asia for American ABC Newsradio. Allan was awarded a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Leicester University in the UK and a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from BCIT in Canada.

Dr Seree Supratid, Director, Climate Change and Disaster Centre, Rangsit University, ThailandDr Seree Supratid is Thailand’s leading disaster expert and flood analyst and played an active role in response to the flooding in Thailand in 2011. He is also an academic board member of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation college and has been participating in the government’s Strategic Planning Group on Water Resources Management and Asia & Pacific Planning group on Hazard and Disaster of ICSU since 2005. In 2010, he was appointed as a Lead Author, SREX “Managing the Risks of Extreme Events

and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation” IPCC(WG2). Prior to this he was Managing Director of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park. He has a doctoral degree in Coastal engineering from the Tohoku University, Japan.

Joe Lowry, Asia-Pacific Spokesperson, International Organization for MigrationJoe Lowry is Asia-Pacific spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration, where he has been deployed to emergency responses such as Typhoon Haiyan, Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu, drought in the Marshall Islands and earthquakes and conflict in the southern Philippines. He also led the media response for the mass return of Cambodian migrant workers from Thailand, and the migrant crisis in the Bay of Bengal. IOM has a keen interest in the mobility aspects of climate change, describing migration as “a phenomenon to

be managed, rather than a problem to be solved”. A Masters graduate from Leicester University, Joe also worked for the IFRC as Head of Delegation in Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus, and as communications manager in Geneva, Moscow, Budapest, the Caucasus and Bangkok.

Water E. Welz, Agriculture and Development ConsultantWalter Welz spent almost ten years with USAID, nearly eight of those with USAID/Uganda as its Food Aid, Food Security, and Humanitarian Relief Officer (a.k.a. “Food for Peace Officer”). Previous careers experiences include 12 years with the Farm Bureau, the largest farm and agricultural advocacy organization in the United States. He has performed various consulting assignments in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, the sub-continent (India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives), the Asia-Pacific region

(China, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam), the occupied Palestinian Territories, Africa (Mozambique, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania), Latin America (Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala), and Eastern Europe (Russia and Bulgaria). Sectoral experiences include Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), humanitarian relief, food security, and food aid.

Shobhakar Dhakal, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Coordinator - Energy Field of Study, Asian Institute of TechnologyDr Shobhakar Dhakal is an Associate Professor at Energy Field of Study of the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. His areas of expertize are in energy and climate change mitigation policies and modeling and on urbanization/cities and climate change. He is also a visiting researcher of the National Institute for Environmental Studies Japan since 2012. Dr Dhakal was one of the Coordinating Lead Authors for the

Fifth Assessment Report of Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the Working Group on Mitigation (for the Chapter ‘Human Settlements, Infrastructure and Spatial Planning’). He also leads and is a co-editor of ongoing international Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities. He serves as a member of the scientific steering committee of the Global Carbon Project, which is premier scientific program under the Future Earth. He has over 60 publications including scientific journals, edited books, journal special issues, and others. He holds Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo.

Donna Lagdameo, Technical Adviser, IFRC, Climate CentreDonna joined the Climate Centre in 2013 as a technical adviser and is currently the IFRC focal point in the Asia-Pacific region. Since 1995 she has been working in policy, governance, evidence-based advocacy on disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation in the Philippines and elsewhere in Asia-Pacific. She worked on the Philippine national DRR framework, and her professional career includes more than ten years in the Philippine government, working in the Senate, the House of Representatives, the

Department of National Defense, and the Development Academy of the Philippines. Darin Klong-ugkara, News Editor/Anchor of Environmental Disasters Issues, ThaiPBSDarin is producing and presenting one of the most popular and respected programmes of the national public service broadcaster of Thailand. She is a multiple award winning journalist with special interest in environmental disasters issues. Before joining the ThaiPBS in 2010, Darin was a CU Radio News Editor and host of Direct Line to University Radios and Thai and Chinese Relation programs which were broadcasted by CU Radio and all around the country university radios (2005 -2008). She was also a Guest Broadcaster

of “Voice of America” (VOA), Washington D.C., USA, in 2008. Darin has received numerous national and international awards including 2014 Disaster Risk Reduction Media Award of The United Nation Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, 28th Golden Television Award from Thai PBS Disaster Risk Reduction Program ( 2014), Prime Minister’s Road Safety Awards (2013) and the Winner Award of News and Feature for Promoting Child Right of Issara Institute supporting by UNICEF (2008). Darin holds Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and History from Chulalongkorn University, the oldest and most prestigious university in Thailand.

Dr Senaka Basnayake, Department Head, ADPCDr Senaka works as department head for the Climate Change and Climate Risk Management unit. He is experienced in conducting research on severe weather events, executing numerical models to simulate them, and analyzing observed meteorological and climatological data for understanding climate change, variability, and extreme weather events. Before joining ADPC in 2010, Dr Senaka served as scientist at the theoretical division of SAARC Meteorological Research Centre (SMRC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Previously

he has worked as meteorologist at the Department of Meteorology in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and as senior meteorologist and meteorologist-in-charge at Centre for Climate Change Studies (CCCS). In 2005 - 2006, he has also served as thematic consultant of climate change for the UNDP funded National Capacity Self Assessment (NCSA) of Sri Lanka. Before his current position, he worked as urban climate risk management specialist under the Urban Disaster Risk Management unit at ADPC. Dr Senaka holds B.Sc. (special) Degree in physics, and a postgraduate diploma and Ph.D. Degree in meteorology.

Rajib Shaw, Professor, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, Japan Rajib Shaw worked closely with the local communities, NGOs, governments and international organization, including United Nations, especially in the Asian countries. He is currently the Chair of the United Nations Asia Regional Task Force for Urban Risk Reduction. His research interests are: community based disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, urban risk management, and disaster and environmental education. Professor Shaw has extensive publications in different journals, books and edited volumes.

Natalia Ilieva, Executive Assistant to Secretary-General of ABUIn ABU Natalia is responsible for strategy development, members and external relations and marketing. She is overseeing the ABU outreach campaigns Saving Lives: Preparing for Disasters and Broadcasting For All: Focus on Gender, an initiative for all inclusive broadcasting. Her journalistic experience spans over two decades across print and electronic media working for public service and commercial organisations. Natalia began her career in Bulgarian National Television as a Foreign Desk Editor and Economic Correspondent.

For several years she was a North America correspondent for the Bulgarian National Television and Bulgarian News Agency before moving to London to work for the BBC World Service as a Current Affairs Producer and News Presenter. Prior to her ABU role she worked for Thomson Foundation, the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association and the AIBD, where she oversaw the development of Gender Guidelines for Asia-Pacific broadcasters. Natalia has a BA in Economics from Sofia University, Bulgaria and an MBA from the University of Ottawa, Canada and the University of Kent, UK.

Andy McElroy, Asia Pacific Focal Point, UNISDRAndy McElroy works for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) based at its Regional Office for Asia Pacific, in Bangkok, Thailand. I serve as UNISDR Asia Pacific focal point for communications & the private sector. Before joining UNISDR in 2013, I worked for the International Federation of Red Cross Red Cross Societies (IFRC) for more than 12 years on disaster management and organisational development. Prior to IFRC I was a newspaper journalist for 14 years. UNISDR supports the implementation, follow-up and review of the

Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 adopted by the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in March 2015 in Japan. The Sendai Framework is a 15-year agreement that aims to prevent and reduce disaster risk.

Marwan Jilani, Head of Bangkok Regional Office, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ (IFRC)Marwan Jilani assumed this position in March 2016. His main responsibilities include the management of the delegation and the provision of support to the Red Cross National Societies within the geographical mandate of the delegation (Cambodia, Lao, Thailand and Vietnam). Prior to this new assignment, Mr Jilani served as the Head of Delegation and Permanent Observer of the IFRC to the United Nations in New York

(2009 – 2016) and Head of the Middle East and North Africa regional office of the IFRC in Amman, Jordan (2007 – 2009). In addition to working with the IFRC and the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, Mr Jilani has a wide-ranging working experience, including in humanitarian and development assistance, diplomacy, youth and public advocacy. In the Middle East region, Mr. Jilani worked with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC); Save the Children (USA); the Academy for Educational Development (AED) as well as with the Palestine Red Crescent Society. Internationally, Mr Jilani worked with an international youth organisation based in Budapest, Hungary and with an international development NGO based in Tunis, Tunisia. Maria Holtsberg, Project Manager, ADPCMaria Holtsberg works as a Project Manager in the Public Health in Emergencies Department at ADPC since 2013. She has skills in program development, experience in results-based management approaches and experience in design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems including baseline, indicators and reporting as well as training and capacity-building for staff in monitoring and evaluation. Maria has experience in joint programming between NGOs as well as between United Nations agencies.

She has broad experience in implementation of knowledge-sharing strategies and research along with specialized experience in the field of gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights. She has 5 years of experience working for Save the Children Sweden in Bangkok; 2 years working for Kvinnoforum, a Swedish capacity-building NGO in Stockholm; 4 years of experience working for UNFPA in New York; 3 years working as individual consultant for various UN agencies, specifically conducting research on gender issues in Southeast Asia. She has experience in building and operating within strategic alliances and networks, professional experience from South/South East Asia and Eastern Europe. Maria earned her MA in Political Science from Stockholm University in 2002.

Mihir Bhatt, Chairperson of Duryog NivaranMihir Bhatt is the founder and director of All India Disaster Mitigation Institute in Ahmedabad, works on reducing risk related action and learning. Mihir has been active in the disaster risk reduction sector since the nineties, published widely on issues of vulnerability and disasters, and has been part of many fora and evaluations of disaster response. Duryog Nivaran is a research, training and advocacy network committed to promoting disaster risk reduction in South Asia. It strives to build the knowledge base of stakeholders by

sharing research findings, information, experiences and insights on emerging issues of disaster management in the countries and among the communities of the region. The Stakeholder Group on Gender and Women’s concerns in DRR of the ISDR Asia Partnership led by Duryog Nivaran, comprises representatives across the Asia and Pacific regions and includes members from UNISDR and other UN agencies, a few government officials, IFRC, Gender and Disaster Network and other NGOs. This group first came together to develop the Annex ‘Statement of Individuals and Organizations Concerned with Gender Issues for the 5AMCDRR’ of the 5AMCDRR, and has since then been active in the AMCDRR and the process leading to the Sendai Framework in bringing women’s concerns to the fore. DN is also currently leading a process of putting together a guidance note on wnsuring inclusion in the implementation of the Sendai Framework.

Sharad Sadhu, Media SpecialistSharad’s career in the media industry spans 47 years. He was the Director Technology of the Asia‐Pacific Broadcasting Union till 2013. Sharad has previously worked as Director Engineering in Doordarshan‐ India, General Manager in TCIL and Professor of TV Technical Operations in the Film and TV Institute of India. Currently he is a Technical Consultant carrying out projects on TV broadcasting and spectrum issues. He is also the Advisor on Technology and International Relations to the Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati,

the Indian Public Broadcaster. On behalf of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Sharad has supervised and carried out projects on digital TV broadcasting in more than 15 countries. On behalf of the UNESCO, he had carried out projects in 9 countries on Emergency Warning broadcasting. For many years, he was the Vice‐Chairman of the World Broadcasting Unions‐Technical Committee, Steering Board member of the DRM Consortium and the World DMB Forum. He alsoserved the ITU’s WRC conferences in several capacities since 1988 and has contributed as a senior expert in manyITU projects.

Toshiyuki Sato, Special Controller, NHK International Inc., NHK-JapanToshiyuki Sato is Special Controller, NHK International Inc. and Secretary-General of Public Broadcasters International (PBI) which is an association of high level executives and professionals of major public broadcasters in the world. He was with NHK for more than 40 years and was posted in Bangkok, Manila, Seoul, Washington and Kuala Lumpur as correspondent and bureau chief. He was Chief-editor of International News (1999-2003) and Director General of NHK World (2003-2008). Mr Sato chaired ABU News

Group from 1993 to 2003. He has been involved with ABU and PBI activities while conducting capacity –building for public service broadcasters in developing countries, Myanmar, Maldives, Egypt, South Sudan, being some of them. Mr Sato lectured at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo (Media Training).

Masakazu Iwaki, Head of Human Interface Research Division, Science and Technology Research Laboratories, NHK-JapanMasakazu Iwaki was appointed Head of Human Interface Research Division, NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories (STRL) in June 2015. During his tenure, he will oversee research and development of human interface technologies to improve media accessibility. He has been the Chairman of the ABU (Asia pacific Broadcasting Union) Technical Committee since 2014. Prior to his appointment, Masakazu Iwaki was

Senior Manager of public relations and planning division in the STRL for three years and Vice - Chairman of the ABU TC for four years respectively. From 1994 to 2008, he has worked as a Research Engineer of acoustics in the STRL.

Tsutomu Ozawa, Deputy Head of Digital Content Center, NHK-JapanTsutomu Ozawa is Deputy Head of Digital Content Center, in NHK Tokyo Headquarters, managing technical and engineering administration for digital content production and service delivery. Ozawa is an experienced engineer, engaged in many job fields, as engineering administration, broadcasting center building, studio and facility design, system development for news and BS digital broadcasting, ICT and security risk management, election news, social big data analysis and visualization, and now digital content production.

In 1994, when he was engaged in meteorological online data real-time processing and CG production, Ozawa engineered the 1st development of automatic initial response system of emergency warning news, against all disasters, such as earthquake, tsunami, volcano eruption, abnormal weather as Typhoon or heavy rain and snow, etc. The system has been acting timely and efficiently over 20 years, starting from the Kobe earthquake in 1995, through the East Japan mega earthquake in 2011. Ozawa is now working on digital content production and delivery technical management, especially for disaster prevention and risk reduction by internet WEB content, mobile native application, data broadcasting, “Hybridcast” combination service, and other applications.

Toshio Kuramata, Senior Producer, NHK-JapanToshio Kuramata is responsible for adding new value to broadcasted videos, especially archived content, and currently in charge of NHK’s digital archives of the Great East Japan earthquake and World War 2 testimonies. He was one of the founding members of NHK’s Internet Division. He served as a part-time lecturer at Keio University, teaching The History of Television and Its Future. Ms McGuin has wide ranging experience leading governance and resilience projects funded by major US, UK, European and multilateral donors in the Asia region. Prior to

Rachael originally comes from Australia where she worked for 10 years managing health and development projects working with remote Indigenous communities, young people, and women.

Arif Al Mamun, Acting Head of Research, BBC Media Action, Bangladesh.Arif is interested in and working on a range of issues related to governance, climate change, maternal and neonatal child health and media in the developing world. At present he is managing a large research team in the BBC Media Action Bangladesh office and overseeing several projects, which aim to enable citizents to participate in public dialogue and hold government to account and help people cope better in future crisis situations with a focus on extreme weather events. Arif has an expertise of both quantitative and

qualitative techniques in his research and has a special interest in studies on media impacts on climate change adaptation and governance. Arif is a Bangladeshi. He received MBA degree from University of Dhaka and completed Bachelor Degree in Statistics from the same university.

Shihan Zuberi, BBC Media ActionShihan has an extensive experience in the international broadcast media arena, having worked for the BBC and as a freelance media professional in several countries as a series producer, TV producer / director, presenter, self-shooting filmmaker, cameraman, video editor and photographer. Currently he is employed by the BBC Media Action in Bangladesh as a senior producer for factual programmes where his experience and skills have enabled him to design, develop and lead at every stage of the production process from

Brandon Oelofse, Company Director Vuselele Media and Senior Trainer, Radio Netherlands Training CentreBrandon is an award winning screenwriter and filmmaker and his work has been represented at numerous festivals including Cannes and the Oscars. He has directed television series, commercials, short films, documentaries, new media content, stage plays and is well known for his work as a music video and adverts director in South Africa. Brandon is a company director of Vuselela Media, a South African non-profit that

develops grass roots journalism in disadvantaged communities. The company produces a number of national television shows using media for change. In 2014 he co-authored “Making the Media Work for You” – a guide for civil society organisations on how to access the media and use it for change. For the last 5 years, Brandon has been working in media education for The South African School of Film and TV, organisations such as Free Press Unlimited and Radio Netherlands training centre and universities in South Africa. Brandon is currently a senior trainer at Radio Netherlands Training Centre in Hilversum and trains both locally and abroad. Brandon Oelofse has a BA Honours (Cum Laude), and a Masters of Fine Arts from The South African School of Film and Live Performance (AFDA) and has studied film in New York and the University of Johannesburg.

Engr. Professor Shahab Afroz Khan, CEO, PLANWEL, A1, LCHS, Block 20 Gulistan Jauhar, Karachi, PakistanShahab has over 25 years experience in ICT for development.
