    Intro: Hwa Rang Do is a comprehensive, modern, eclectic martial arts

    system encompassing unarmed combat, weaponry, internal training

    and healing techniues.

    History: In #arch 1$%&, the 'ounder o' Hwa Rang Do, Dr. (oo ang

    *ee and his brother, (oo +ang *ee were introduced to the uddhist

    mon +uahm Dosa by their 'ather, who was a personal 'riend o' the

    mon, and they began their 'ormal training aged - /.

    0he brothers lived and trained as students under the mon on

    the weeends and during school vacations and also trained in othermartial arts when they were unable to train under +uahm Dosa.
