CHAPTER 1: GENERAL

1.1. INTRODUCTION

This Maintenance Manual (MM) is intended for personnel responsible for the maintenance Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical by FN Herstal.

The purpose of this manual is to familiarize personnel with the operation and maintenance of weapons, explaining the disassembly, reassembly, repair and / or replacement of pieces that make up the weapon and describe the appropriate inspections, gauges and setting procedures.

1.2. DESCRIPTION

Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical is a weapon system whose mechanism is integrated in the butt. Its exterior profile has been designed with rounded contours, without protruding element, even when it is equipped with accessories. Its innovative design is focused on shooting comfort and transport.

Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical is fully ambidextrous without any changes necessary due to the ejection. The fire selector and safety, the lock button charger and the lever arms are easily accessible.

The base caliber Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 is the standard ammunition NATO 5.56 x 45 mm.

The Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 can be reconfigured based on the requirements specific mission. Any standard sighting system may be secured to the rail Picatinny MIL-STD-1913. The Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 is equipped with a sight Adjustable relief.

The handguard can be replaced by standard accessories such as grenade launchers 40 mm LV, a tri rail handguard, a laser sight, a flashlight ... All configurations F2000 Weapon System Integrated Tactical meet the ergonomics of origin the weapon. The natural balance and comfort transportation is never degraded.

Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical is characterized by two modes of fire: once by stroke and automatic.

Tactical and support gun assembled (110/1) consists of:

- The barrel support group (120/1) which consists of a pair of flanges on which the following components are assembled:

The pair of flanges of cannon holder (121/1) is fixed with the screw head 6 hexagon cylindrical (115 / A), screws 6 hexagon head screws (116 / A), of the screw head 6 hexagon cylindrical (226 / A) and self-locking nuts hexagonal, polyamide insert (119 / A).

The ejection valve (107) located on the right side panel.

The ejection valve (107) is fixed to the right flange with its lugs and its spring ejection valve (108).

The ejection valve (107) opens automatically when the sockets are ejected by the ejection.

The push latch (124) located on the rear portion of the pair of flanges barrel support (121/1).

The push latch (124) are equipped with springs push latch (125).

The push latch (124) urges the rocker (411) (see figure 2.e) using springs push latch (125).

The ramp ring (101) located at the front of the pair of flanges of support barrel (121/1).

The slip ring (101) is used to attach the hook of the strap (accessory).

The ramp ring (101) is fixed to the pair of flanges barrel support (121/1) using the axis of strap ring (104).

- The barrel assembly (150), located between the pair of flanges barrel support (121/1), is a barrel on which are assembled the following components:

The flash suppressor (151) located at the front of the gun.

The flash suppressor (151) is screwed onto the barrel with the flash suppressor washer (152).

The plug ferrule (191) which closes the housing of the piston assembly (180).

The plug ferrule (191) is locked to the barrel by the index plug ferrule (163).

The index plug ferrule (163) located behind the plug ferrule (191).

The index plug ferrule (163), equipped with a spring index plug ferrule (162), is attached to the barrel by means of a pin said hollow cylindrical roll pin (164).

The index plug ferrule (163) engages the notches of the plug ferrule (191) for position it in position 'normal' position or 'adverse conditions'.

The adjusting screw gases (144) screwed onto the barrel within the shell of gas intake.

The adjusting screw gas (144) controls the rate of fire.

The larger the diameter of the screw gases (144), the greater the rate of fire is high.

The piston assembly (180) located in the housing closed by the plug ferrule (191).

The piston 3 is provided with piston rings (182).

- Group lever arms (140) located on the left end plate vis-à-vis the guide lever arms (146) located inside the left flange.

The group lever arms (140) is attached to the guide lever arms (146) by means of a pin elastic spiral (137 / B).

The group lever arms (140), associated with the guide lever arms (146), can be drawn moving parts assemblies (410, see FIG 2.e.) back to arm the weapon.

- The rail assembly (175/1) between the pair of flanges of cannon holder (121/1).

The rail assembly (175/1) has a valve sleeve (178).

The rail assembly (175/1) comprises a Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) used for the installation of the accessories.

3.1. BY MAKING GAS PARFONCTIONNEMENT

• The percussion primer ignites the powder contained in the sleeve.

• The combustion of the powder generates high pressure gas.

• The gas propels the bullet in the barrel.

• Shortly before the release of the ball from the barrel, a portion of the gas is drawn through an orifice Lateral called vent hole, and directed into the gas cylinder.

• In the gas cylinder, the gas pushing the piston.

• The piston generates the rearward movement of the slide.

3.2. SHOOTING HEAD CLOSED

• This designation means that gunsmith:

- The operator, by manual movement of the moving parts (by moving the joystick weapons), ammunition supplies previously in the chamber of the barrel;

- So the bolt closes the chamber;

- The operator can then activate the firing mechanism to shoot.

• The opposite of this principle is called "shot open bolt" that can survive a round in the room.

3.3. ROTARY ROTCULASSE

• The receiver (450) provides lock-down room through its pins lockout feature supported on corresponding teeth carried in an extension of canon.

• At the beginning of the movement of the slide towards the rear, it causes rotation of the yoke (450) by means of a shaft integral with the cylinder head (450), called cam locking (424), a ramp formed in the unlocking slider body.

• The rotation of the yoke (450) releases the locking lugs of the teeth of the extension the barrel.

• The result of the movement of the slide causes the recoil of the breech (450) by means of the locking cam (424) in abutment in its arrival ramp.

• The decline in head (450) retrieves the socket in the room with a extractor (454) engaging the sleeve by its bead.

The A'AVEJECTION TO THE AV ANT (original system patented by FN Herstal)

• After extraction of the sleeve, the latter is retained on the cylinder head (450) by the extractor (454).

• The sleeve thus supports the yoke (450) throughout its rearward movement and a portion of its forward movement (as opposed to the usual systems where discharge following extraction).

• When moving forward moving parts assemblies (410) (head (450) and slide pushed forward under the action of the recoil spring (435)), the trigger (442) raises the extractor (454) which releases the sleeve.

• The holder is then propelled by the action of an ejector (464) in the latch (411).

• The result of movement of the mobile assembly (410) is the forward flip-flop (411) having the sleeve in front of the ejection tube.

• The socket continues its movement and passes a valve sleeve (178). This crossing is confirmed by the index head.

• The sleeve continues to move by inertia and can exit through the ejection port located on the front right side of the weapon.

- It is recommended to close the ejection port valve (107) in operation 'Adverse conditions' to limit the entry of sand, etc..

Position 'A' (AUTO):

3.7. PRINCIPPE THE CASE OF A MECHANISM FOR FIRE (510)

3.7.1. Reduction in the dog at the pressure of the trigger

• As a reminder, to supply the ammunition room, lined charger is introduced in the weapon, the handle is pulled completely arms rearwardly and then the released.

4.1. WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

The following instructions must be read and understood before loading and arming the weapon and before any work on it (dismantling, maintenance, ...):

xThe Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 can cause injury or death to 2000 meters.

xAlways handle the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical, like any other weapon with extreme caution and with due diligence towards a weapon loaded, even if you are sure the gun is unloaded. Never touch the trigger unless you are ready to fire.

xNever modify parts of the weapon. Any repairs or handling unplanned in the maintenance field can not be performed by qualified service personnel.

xIf the weapon has been extensively oiled or greased for transport or storage, it must completely clean and lightly lubricate the metal parts before shooting.

xThe gun must be completely dry before firing.

xIf the barrel is obstructed, never try to lead pulling.

4.2. VERIFICATIONSVERIFICATIONS SAFETY


Before handling, transport and / or storage Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000, follow the procedure below:

• Aim the gun in a safe direction.

• Set the fire selector and safety (255) in position 'S' (SAFETY) (Fig. 4.2.a).

• If the charger 30 cartridges (601) is still in the gun (1) press the lock button Charger (247) and (2) remove the magazine from the weapon by pulling downwards (Fig. 4.2.b.).

• Pull lever arms fully rearwardly and then bring it back to the front accompanying it (Fig. 4.2.C).

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards and then push upwards to lock in the rear position (Fig. 4.2.d.).

Note: If a cartridge or sleeve is always present in the room, it will projected into the ejection tube and out through the ejection port, if necessary, opening the ejection valve (107) and directing the gun down.

Note: By positioning in the locking notch, the lever arms has a small return movement forward.

• Lift the cover (271) (Fig. 4.4.e.) and check the emptiness of the room (Fig. 4.2.f.).

The ARMECHAPITRE 5: RECEPTION OF WEAPON

Before any work on the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical, be sure to be familiar with the safety information given in Chapter 4 of the Maintenance Manual.

• Take the carton and inspect it for damage.

If the shipping carton is damaged, take note (description or picture) and the report to the FN Herstal.

• Open the carton and check the contents according to the packing list.

In case of a problem, report it to the FN Herstal.

• Disassemble campaign (see § 7.1.) And removing additional (See § 7.2.).

In case of discrepancy, report it to the FN Herstal.

• Clean the bore to remove the lubricant preservation. Removing the lubricant preservation of moving parts assemblies (410).

For more information on cleaning, see Chapter 8.

• Lubricate the bore and the moving parts assembly (410) with lubricant maintenance or functional lubricant.

For more information on lubrication, refer to Chapter 8.

At this stage, the other component parts of the Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 have not require lubrication.

• Reassemble the weapon (see § 7.3., And § 7.4.).

CAUTION

Never lubricate the components of the charger 30 cartridges (601).

The barrel should not be oiled before firing.

6.1. CARTOUCHESCHARGEMENT CARTRIDGES CHARGER 30 (601)

• If the charger (601) is still in the gun (1) press the lock button charger (247) and (2) remove the magazine (601) of the weapon by pulling downwards (Fig. 6.1.a).

• Garnish charger (601) as follows (Fig. 6.1.b.)

- Keep the charger firmly (601) with its opening facing up.

- With your thumb, push the cartridges, one at a time inside the charger (601).

CAUTION

Charger (601) has a maximum capacity of 30 cartridges.

Do not attempt to load more than 30 rounds in the magazine (601).

6.2. LOADING AND EQUIPMENT OF ARMEL'ARME

Preliminary note: The safety checks must be carried out (see § 4.2.). The weapon must have been properly cleaned and lubricated (see Chapter 8).

6.2.1. Loading the gun

• Aim the gun in a safe direction.

• Set the fire selector and safety (255) in position 'S' (SAFETY) (Fig. 6.2.a).

• Insert the magazine into the weapon garni (Fig. 6.2.b.).

Notes: - to lock the charger (601), firmly push the bottom of the charger.

- Check that the charger (601) is attached to the weapon by pulling down.

6.2.2. Armaments weapon

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards and then release (Fig. 6.2.c.).

Note: This operation will cock the hammer and place the cartridge in the first room.

Warning: Do not hold the lever arms on his return to the front.

• If there is no viewfinder, face upwards (Fig. 6.3.a.). • Point the gun at the target. • Set the fire selector and safety (255) in position '1 '(COUP BY BLOW) or position 'A' (AUTO) (Fig. 6.3.B.). • Press the trigger (Fig. 6.3.c.) - If the "piecemeal is selected, the rearward movement of the détentecoup" coup is limited: a shot is fired each time the trigger. - If the "Automatic" mode is selected, the trigger must be pressed all the way to the rear and held at that location then draw the weapon burst until the trigger is released.

Note: In "automatic" mode, if the trigger is pressed halfway, the weapon will not receive a single shot. To get a burst, it is not necessary to release the trigger but just press it all the way back until the burst starts.

Rate of fire

The rate of fire burst between 750 and 950 strokes / min in normal shooting. The recommended rate range is between 800 and 900 strokes / min with cap collar (191) in "normal" position (see below). The recommended range is the range where the F2000 presents its improved reliability and better operating margins against most parameters likely to influence the pace. These parameters include: ammunition, the ammunition temperature, the temperature of the weapon, the cleanliness and lubrication of the weapon, the holding of the weapon, the weapon lapping ...

It is normal to see a slight increase in firing rate during the life the weapon and mainly during the first 1000 shots. This is why the Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 is set to a slightly higher rate of fire low for his first shots, ensuring proper use of the weapon in terms normal range.

Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 is equipped with a plug ferrule (191), which is a controller with two positions:

Position 'normal' (Fig. 6.3.d.) The normal position is used in normal shooting.

Position 'adverse conditions' (Fig. 6.3.d.) This position is only used if the conditions are adverse (Mud, sand, ice, extreme heat ...)

If this directive is used position under normal conditions, the rate of fire and increased component life and comfort of the shooter are reduced.

6.4. The ARMEDECHARGEMENT OF WEAPON

• Perform safety checks (see § 4.2.).

Note: If a cartridge or sleeve are still in the room, is to take the lever arms backwards will allow to eject the window ejection. If necessary, the ejection of the sleeve can be facilitated by pointing barrel downwards and opening the ejection valve (107).

It is very important to be familiar with the disassembly and reassembly of campaign weapon since it is necessary during the cleaning procedure, which provides a reliable operation of the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical.

7.1. DEMONTAL'ARMEDEMONTA GE OF WEAPON

7.1.1. Security measures

• Perform safety checks (see § 4.2.).

• Pull the lever arms completely backward and bring forward by accompanying.

Note: The dog is well equipped to facilitate removal of the mechanism housing firing (510).

7.1.2. Support and Tactical gun assembled (110/1) Tactical

Caution: After firing, the barrel may be hot.

• Push the key to dismantling assembly (230) on the right side of the gun (Fig. 7.1.a.).

The disassembly key assembly (230) then goes out from the left side of the weapon.

• Pull the lever from assembly (230) on the left side of the gun until blocked (Fig. 7.1.a.).

• Remove the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) out of the carcass assembly (201/1) by pushing forward (Fig. 7.1.b.).

• Remove the moving parts assembly (410) of the housing assembly (201/1) (1) in the sliding forward and (2) by pulling upwards (Fig. 7.1.c.).

• Place the assembled moving parts (410) vertically resting on the end of said slide rod (434). Slide the rear support of the recoil spring (438) downwardly to release the latch (411). Then disengaging the latch (411) parts mobile assemblies (410) (Fig. 7.1.d.).

• (1) Lift the maintenance of the firing pin on the top of moving parts assemblies (410) and (2) pull the firing pin (427) out of the slider body (Fig. 7.1.e.).

• (1) Lift the tip of the index and yoke (2) and urging the yoke (450) in the bottom from its housing (Fig. 7.1.f.).

• (1) Keeping up the index head and the cylinder head (450) pressed, rotate (1/4 turn) the locking cam (424) and remove. (2) Pull the bolt (450) out of body slide, taking care not to lose the spring bolt (423) (Fig. 7.1.g.).

• Pressing the index bolt spring (447) so as to release it from the pin index bolt and then remove it (Fig. 7.1.h.).

7.1.4. Plug ferrule (191) and piston assembly (180)

Caution: After firing, the cap band (191) may be hot.

• Turn the cap collar (191) clockwise until it stops (position 'Adverse conditions') (Fig. 7.1.i.).

• (1) Using the tapered end of the OREA 892, pushing the index cap collar (163) in the slot to unlock the plug ferrule (191). (2) Turn the plug ferrule (191) in a clockwise direction and (3) removing the substrate and barrel Tactical assembled (110/1) (Fig. 7.1.j.).

Note: The sludge accumulated inside the cap collar (191) might interfere with his disassembly. In this case, use the OREA 892 as a lever to rotate the cap band (Fig. 7.1.k) ..

• If necessary, remove the sludge adhering to the head of the screw gas (144) and inside diameter of the housing cap hoop (191) with a scraper ORDEA 892 (Fig. 7.1.l.).

Note: Check that the plug housing fret (191) has no impurities. These could damage the piston (182) when removing the piston assembly (180).

• Introduce the tapering side of the VREG 892 in the housing of said slide rod (Fig. 7.1.m.).

Warning: Except OREA 892, not to introduce another object in the Housing slide rod.

• (1) Push ORDEA 892 in the bottom of the housing of the slide rod of the support and Tactical gun assembled (110/1) (Fig. 7.1.m.).

• (2) Insert the slide rod (434) in response to the OREA 892 in the housing of the stem Slide the assembled carrier and barrel Tactical (110/1) (Fig. 7.1.m.).

• push the slide rod (434) until the piston assembly (180) is ejected from the housing (Fig. 7.1.m and Fig. 7.1.n.).

Caution: Do not remove the piston rings (182).

• Removing the slide rod (434) and the VREG 892.

7.2.1. Extractor (454)

• (1) Using the OREA 892, remove the extractor pin (456) of the bolt body (Fig. 7.2.a.).

• (2) Remove the extractor (454) of the bolt body, taking care not to lose the two springs extractor (455) (Fig. 7.2.a.).

• If necessary, remove the 2 springs extractor (455) of the bolt body (Fig. 7.2.b.).

7.2.2. Handguard (280/1)

• Push (1) on the rear hold the hand guard (280/1) and (2) remove the handguard (280/1) of the carcass assembly (201/1) by pulling it downwards (Fig. 7.2.c.).

7.2.3. Charger 30 cartridges (601)

• Rotate the bottom slightly charger by removing it from its housing and ensuring holding the spring so that the carrier is expelled from the charger cover (Fig. 7.2.d.).

• Remove the spring carrier with the carrier out of the holster charger (Fig. 7.2.d.).

This level of disassembly is sufficient to achieve complete cleaning: a further disassembly should only be performed by qualified service personnel.

• Make sure that the parts have been properly cleaned and lubricated, see Chapter 8.

7.3.1. Extractor (454)

• If necessary, place the two springs extractor (455) in the housing of the bolt body (Fig. 7.3.a.).

• Placing the extractor (454) on the bolt body by directing spout side of the extractor the ejector (464) (Fig. 7.3.b.).

Attention: Make sure the two extractor springs are well positioned in their housing of the cylinder head (450).

• (1) Push the extractor (454) to slightly compress the two springs extractor (455) and align the holes in the extractor (454) and the bolt body (Fig. 7.3.b.).

• (2) Insert the pin extractor (456) into the corresponding hole of the bolt body (Fig. 7.3.b.).

Note: The pin extractor (456) should not exceed the hole once reassembled.

• Once reassembled, check the proper functioning of the extractor (454) by pressing and releasing it.

7.3.2. Handguard (280/1)

• Place the handguard (280/1) in the frame assembly (201/1) so that is aligned with the end of the carcass (210/1). Position the hand guard (280/1) against the carcass assembly (201/1) and press firmly upwards (Fig. 7.3.c.).

Note: Check that the pins are parallel to the top edges of the carcass (210/1) (Fig. 7.3.c.).


• Insert the spring carrier with the carrier inside the pouch charger (Fig. 7.3.d.).

• Compress the spring carrier inside the charger cover and slide the magazine bottom in the housing of the charger cover until the lugs locking the magazine bottom being engaged in the corresponding notches the charger cover (Fig. 7.3.d.).

• Check that the carrier can move freely by pressing and releasing (Fig. 7.3.d.).

• Place housing firing mechanism (510) to the inside of the carcass assembly (201/1) ensuring the introduction into the grooves of the correrspondantes carcass (210/1) (Fig. 7.4.a.).

Note: If the dog is raised, (1) tilt the housing mechanism to Fire (510) towards the front panel (2) being introduced into the carcass assembly (201/1) (Fig. 7.4.b.) or push the dog to lock the mechanism housing firing (510) before introducing it into the frame assembly (201/1).

Note: Check that the mechanism housing firing (510) does not exceed the frame assembly (201/1) once reassembled.

• Replace the butt plate (275) as follows:

• Place the cap collar (191) so that it does not mask the index cap fret (163) (Fig. 7.4.f.).

• (1) Using the pointed end of the tool OREA 892, pushing the index cap fret (163) in its housing, (2) rotate the cap collar (191) in the sense anti-clockwise until the index plug ferrule (163) is locked in a cap hoop notch (191) (Fig. 7.4.g.).

• Turn the cap band in anti-clockwise until it stops. Cap collar (191) is placed in position and 'normal'.


Caution: Before installing the bolt (450), check the mobility of the ejector (464) in the pushing and releasing.

• Compress spring index yoke (447) and place one of its ends on the maintaining striker (Fig. 7.4.h.).

• Slowly release the spring index yoke (447) ensuring that the pin index bolt engages with the latter (Fig. 7.4.h.).

• Check that the bolt spring (423) is well within the sliding body (Fig. 7.4.i.).

Note: If the bolt spring (423) must be reassembled, insert it into the slot of slider body, using the push bolt (450) to the bottom of the housing until it engages.

• Insert the bolt (450) into the slot ensuring that the extractor (454) is upwardly (Fig. 7.4.j.).

• (1) Raise the tip of the index head and hold it in this position (Fig. 7.4.k.).

• (2) Push the bolt (450) into the slot to align the hole yoke (450) with the hole of the slider body (Fig. 7.4.k.).

• (1) By keeping always the yoke (450), align the groove of the locking cam (424) parallel to the yoke index using the tool OREA 892 (Fig. 7.4.l.).

• (2) Release the bolt (450) and index bolt and check that the index bolt engages correctly in the groove of the locking cam (424) (Fig. 7.4.l.).

• Check the operation of the extractor (454) by turning the shutter (442) 1/4 turn clockwise: the extractor (454) must rise.

• Insert the firing pin (427) in its housing body slide until maintaining locked by the striker. Verify that the firing pin (427) is maintained in its seat (Fig. 7.4.m.).

• Place the assembled moving parts (410) vertically resting on the end of said slide rod (434). (1) Slide the rear spring support recuperator (438) downwardly to enable reassembly of the rocker (411) (Fig. 7.4.n.).

• (2 and 3) Place the latch (411) on the slider body by releasing gradually Posterior support of the recoil spring (438) which takes place by the action of return spring (435) (Fig. 7.4.n.).

Warning: There is a sense for the scale up (411): the illustrated face of a spring must be placed on the side of said slide rod (434) (Fig. 7.4.o.).

• Insert the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in the carcass (210/1) in the sliding along the housing (210/1), taking care to insert the rod slide (434) in the holder (Fig. 7.4.r.).

• Push firmly support and Tactical gun assembled (110/1) to stop (Fig. 7.4.r.).

The frequency at which the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical should be cleaned and lubricated depends on the ammunition used, weather conditions, shooting conditions and other external factors.

When standard ammunition is used under normal conditions of use, it is recommended to clean and lubricate the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical after each use or, in the case of intensive use, every 2000 shots. If the conditions use are adverse (mud, sand, ice, extreme heat, ...), clean and lubricate more often F2000 Weapon System Integrated Tactical. Maintenance performed correctly increases the life of the weapon and ensures proper operation.

Before cleaning the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical, ALWAYS make sure the gun is not loaded (see § 6.4.).

The toolkit includes 940 full OREA Tactical cleaning kit OREA 885 compound following cleaning tools (Fig. 8.2.a.):

a burette (OREA 700).

The complete toolkit Tactical OREA 940 also includes 3 tools needed to Maintenance and campaign settings of the weapon (Fig. 8.2.a.):

8.2.1.1. OREA 885 cleaning kit

Complete the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 consists of 4 pieces to assemble butt and a laundry.

Depending on the needs of cleaning various cleaning tools can be assembled on the cleaning rod: the laundry, room and brush the swab.

The handle of the cleaning rod OREA 271/1peut be used in 2 ways:

- Is folded over the cleaning rod to allow a better grip of the cleaning rod for rotational movements; - Be open to 90 ° for better decision for the cleaning rod the movements back and forth.

The following procedure assumes that the Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 was properly cleaned and lubricated the last time it was used (see § 8.4.).

If the Weapon System Integrated Tactical F2000 is used for the first time, it is assumed that the procedure described in Chapter 5 was performed.

• Disassemble campaign (see § 7.1.) And removing additional (See § 7.2.).

• Install the washing on the cleaning rod OREA 271/1.

• Insert the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 in the barrel by the chamber. Place a piece of flannel in the wash and remove the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 to remove the lubricant maintenance. Repeat this procedure until the piece of flannel comes out clean the barrel.

• Using a cloth, clean the moving parts as follows:

- Wipe the outside of the moving parts.

- Wipe the recoil spring (435).

- Compress the recoil spring (435) and wipe the exposed portion of the rod slide (434).

- Pull the rear support of the recoil spring (438) against the recoil spring (435) compressed and clean the thus disengaged from the slide rod (434).

• Lubricate moving parts as follows:

- Oil the bolt body (arrows "a").

- Lubricate the nozzle (464) and make sure it is completely lubricated and then pressing releasing repeatedly (arrow 'b').

- Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) the locking cam (424) (arrow 'c') and the cam release (arrow 'd').

- Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) index head (arrows 'e').

- Oil slides slide body (arrows 'f').

- Oil said slide rod (434) over its entire length (arrows 'g').

- Push the rear support of the recoil spring (438) to compress the spring recuperator (435) and the portion thus released oil from the slide rod (434) (Arrows 'g').

• Lubricate the piston rod (arrows 'h').

• Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) 2 springs dog (arrows 'i').

• Clean the chamber as follows:

- Equip the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 of the brush chamber OREA 258.

- Insert the brush OREA room 258 in the room.

- Clean the chamber by rotating the brush OREA room 258.

Warning: Do not use force when inserting the brush chamber OREA 258 in the room.

- Remove the brush OREA room 258 of the chamber.

• Using the brush OREA 258 room, clean the piston housing fret proceeding in the same way as the room (see above).

Warning: Do not use force when inserting the brush chamber OREA 258 in the piston housing fret.

• Use of the scraper OREA 892A, scrape the front and to the piston rod remove sludge and copper particles adhering to them.

Caution: Do not scrape the piston (182).

• Using the scraper OREA 892A, scrape collar cap (191) to remove the sludge and the copper particles which adhere to a smooth surface.

• Insert the swab OREA 184 of the cleaning rod OREA 271/1.

• Insert the swab OREA 184 per room and clean the inside of the barrel its entire length by a movement back and forth until it is visually own.

• Install the washing on the cleaning rod OREA 271/1.

• Insert the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 in the barrel by the chamber. Place a piece of flannel in the wash and remove the cleaning rod OREA 271/1 to remove the lubricant maintenance. Repeat this until the piece of flannel comes out clean the barrel.

• Once the barrel is adapted to protect it until the next use, perform one last time this with a piece of flannel lightly oiled.

• Oil the piston rod.

• Using the cleaning brush OREA 895, remove the copper particles adhered to the yoke (450).

• Use of the cleaning brush 895 VREG and, if necessary the swab OREA 184, removing the particles adhering to the extractor.

• Using a cloth, wipe the locking cam (424) and the hammer (427).

• Using a cloth, clean the moving parts assembly (410) by performing as follows:

- Wipe the outside moving parts assemblies (410).

- Wipe the recoil spring (435).

- Compress the recoil spring (435) and wipe the exposed portion of the rod slide (434).

- Pull the rear support of the recoil spring (438) against the spring recuperator (435) and wiping the cleared portion of the slide rod (434).

• Lubricate moving parts assembly (410) as follows:

- Oil the yoke (450).

- Lubricate the nozzle (464) and make sure it is completely lubricated by pressing and releasing it several times.

- Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) the locking cam (424) and ramp unlocking.

- Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) index head.

- Oil skids and back body slide.

- Oil said slide rod (434) over its entire length.

- Push the rear support of the recoil spring (438) to compress the spring recuperator (435) and the portion thus released oil from the slide rod (434).


• Check the general cleanliness of housing firing mechanism (510). If necessary, use a cloth to clean it.

• Lightly oil (1 drop of oil) 2 springs dog.

• Check the general cleanliness of the carcass (210/1) and the hand guard (280/1). If necessary, use a cloth for cleaning.

• Check the general cleanliness of the two metal rails located inside the carcass (210/1). If necessary, mount the 184 on OREA swab stick cleaning OREA 271/1 and 2 clean metal rails.

• Lubricate the two metal rails located inside the carcass (210/1).

Note: To allow a good flow of oil along the entire length of the rails metal, placing the firearm in a vertical position and wait for a few minutes until the oil has elapsed.

• Lubricate two push switches (124).


• Check the general cleanliness of the charger 30 cartridges (601) and its components. If necessary, use a cloth to clean it.

• The inside of the charger 30 cartridges (601) can be lightly oiled and then directly cleaned with a cloth.

9.1.1. Removing and replacing the flash suppressor (151)

Disassembly

• Remove the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) as described in the procedure maintenance campaign (§ 7.1.1. § in 7.1.2.).

• Place the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in a vise covered with a cloth (Fig. 9.1.b.).

• Using the wrench UT 2370 and UT 2371 tip, unscrew the cover flame (151) and remove the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) taking care not to not lose the washer flash suppressor (152) (Fig. 9.1.c.).

Caution: The flash suppressor (151) has a left-hand thread: it must be unscrewed in clockwise viewed from the front of the barrel.

• Using the tapered side of the OREA 54 from outside the flash suppressor (151), push the ring flash suppressor (152) and remove the cover off the flame (151).

Reassembly

• If you have not already done so, place the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in a vise covered with a cloth.

• Insert the flash suppressor washer (152) into the flash suppressor (151) ensuring its place rounded side first (Fig. 9.1.d.).

• Set the flash suppressor (151) at the end of the barrel (Fig. 9.1.e.).

Caution: The flash suppressor (151) has a left-hand thread: it must be screwed into the meaning anti-clockwise viewed from the front of the barrel.

• Using the wrench UT 2370 and UT 2371 tip, screw flash suppressor (151) on the support and assembled Tactical gun (110/1) performing as follows:

- Tighten the flash suppressor (151) with a torque of 30 Nm

- Further tighten the flash suppressor (151) until its inclined face is oriented upwards (Fig. 9.1.f.).

Attention: After this operation, the flash suppressor (151) must not have been tightened more than one turn.

• Replace the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) as described in the procedure maintenance campaign (§ 7.4.4.).

• Remove the piston assembly (180) as described in § 7.1.4.

• If necessary, remove one of the segments by a piston (182) of the piston body with nose pliers to 1820 UT (Fig. 9.1.g.).

Warning: Once removed, the piston (182) can not be reused and must be replaced with new segments.

Reassembly

• If the piston (182) have been removed, install piston rings (182) New as described below:

- Introduce an end of the piston ring (182) in the corresponding groove of piston body (Fig. 9.1.h.).

- Place the piston ring completely (182) by introducing progressively the groove in the piston body from the end already inserted (Fig. 9.1.h.).

- Proceed in the same way to get the other 2 piston (182).

• Using the OREA 892, position the piston 3 (182) so that their notches are not aligned (Fig. 9.1.i.).

Warning: The recesses of three piston rings (182) should not be aligned may cause a gas leak.

• Replace the piston assembly (180) as described in § 7.4.2.

• Replace the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) as described in the procedure maintenance campaign in § 7.4.4.

• Remove the cap collar (191) as described in § 7.1.4.

• Keeping the index cap collar (163) and using the pin punch UT 2005 (1) remove the pin said hollow cylindrical spring pin (164) Tactical Media and barrel Assemblies (110/1) (Fig. 9.1.k.).

Caution: Keep the index cap collar (163), otherwise it will be ejected by the action of spring index plug ferrule (162).

Warning: Once removed, said hollow cylindrical pin spring pin (164) is can be reused and must be replaced with a new one.

• (2) Remove the index plug ferrule (163) and (3) the spring index plug ferrule (162) Support and Tactical gun assembled (110/1) (Fig. 9.1.k.).

Reassembly

• If it has not already done so, place the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in a vice covered with a cloth.

• (1) Install a new pin called hollow cylindrical spring pin (164) in his housing taking care not to insert it completely: it must not exceed inside the Housing index plug ferrule (163) (Fig. 9.1.l.).

Note: Do not insert the pin completely hollow cylindrical said spring pin (164) at this stage if the winding of the index plug ferrule (163) will not be possible.

• (2) Install the spring index cap collar (162) in its seat (Fig. 9.1.l.).

• (3) Install the cap band index (163) in its housing, ensuring its face insert first plane (Fig. 9.1.m.).

• Keeping the index cap collar (163), fully depress the pin said hollow cylindrical roll pin (164) (Fig. 9.1.l.).

Note: The pin said hollow cylindrical spring pin (164) must not exceed once ascent.

Note: The gas adjustment screw (144) to adjust the rate of fire of the weapon. For a high rate of fire, a set screw mounted gas (144) with a large diameter inlet. For a lower rate of fire, install a screw gases (144) with a small diameter.

Disassembly

• Remove the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) as described in the procedure maintenance campaign (7.1.1. § in 7.1.2.).

• Place the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in a vise covered with a cloth (Fig. 9.1.n.).

• Remove the cap collar (191) and piston assembly (180) as described in § 7.1.4.

• Using the screwdriver UT 1905, unscrew the throttle setting (144) (Fig. 9.1.o.).

• The support and disassemble gun Tactical assembled (110/1) (Fig. 9.1.o.). The dismantling procedure is complete if the adjusting screw of the gas (144) was removed. If this is not the case, follow the instructions below.

• Use of the wick 3 mm diameter UT 2421, extend the upper portion of the screw throttle control (144) of 3 to 4 mm maximum depth.

• Using the puller bolts M6-M8 2824 UT mounted on the left turn extensible UT 2601, extract the gas adjusting screw (144) and the support barrel Tactical assembled (110/1) as follows:

- Push the extractor bolts M6-M8 2824 UT by small hammer in screw gases (144) enlarged by drilling.

- Unscrew the throttle setting (144) out of the slot.

- Clean the housing of the adjusting screw of the gas (144) residues of the repair.

Disassembly


• Using a torque screwdriver UT 1937 and UT 2372 screwdriver bit, 6 to unscrew the socket head screws (115 / A), 6 screws socket head cylindrical (116 / A) and the screws 6 hexagon head screws (226 / A) (Fig. 9.1.q.).

• Remove the 6 screws to 6 socket head cap screws (115 / A, 116 / A and 226 / A) and 6 nuts hexagonal self-locking, nylon insert (119 / A) (Fig. 9.1.q.).

Warning: The length of the screw to 6 socket head cap screws (115 / A), 6 screws hexagon head screws (116 / A) and the screw head 6 hexagon cylindrical (226 / A) is not the same: they are not interchangeable.

Warning: Once removed, the self-locking hex nuts, insert polyamide (119 / A) can not be reused and must be replaced by new.

• Using the screwdriver UT 1905, separating the pair of support flanges barrel (121/1) (Fig. 9.1.r.).

• (2) Insert the 6 screws to 6 socket head cap screws (115 / A, 116 / A and 226 / A) their slot on the left flange (Fig. 9.1.ab.).

• Holding the pushbutton switches (124) and using the pin punch diameter 1.9 2008 UT, push the lock button push switches (124) (Fig. 9.1.ae.).

Note: Push switches (124) can be removed without disassembling the gun assembled (150). The figures below are against simplified for ease of understanding.

Caution: If the push switch (124) is not maintained, it will be ejected by the action of lifter spring latch (125).

• Removing the push latch (124) and the plunger spring latch (125) out of the gun carrier group (120/1) (Fig. 9.1.ae.).

• Proceed in the same way to remove the second push switches (124).

Reassembly

• Insert the spring push switches (125) into the corresponding gun carrier group (120/1) (Fig. 9.1.af.).

• Insert the push lever (124) in the corresponding slot of the support group barrel (120/1) ensuring:

- That the lock button is facing the groove corresponding group barrel carrier (120/1) (Fig. 9.1.ag.);

9.1.10. Removing and replacing the valve ejection (107)

Disassembly

• Open ejection valve (107) (Fig. 9.1.al.).

• Using needle nose pliers UT 1820, pushing the ejection valve (107) to the top of the weapon and bending it slightly off of the mount and gun Tactical assembled (110/1) taking care not to lose the spring valve ejection (108) (Fig. 9.1.am.).

• Remove the valve spring of the ejection port (108) of the ejection valve (107).

Reassembly

• Replace the valve spring ejection (108) on the pin before the corresponding ejection valve (107) (Fig. 9.1.an.).

• Introduce the ejection valve (107) equipped with the valve spring window ejection means (108) into the corresponding slot on the front of the weapon (Fig. 9.1.ao.).

• Using a needle nose pliers UT 1820, slightly bend the ejection valve (107) to allow insertion of the rear lug of the ejection valve (107) in its housing. The ejection valve (107) is fully wound and (Fig. 9.1.ap.).

• Close the valve ejection port (107) and verify that it is properly locked.

• Using the pin punch UT 2008, hunt 4 pins left lip carcass (222) and the right lip carcass (223) of the housing (210/1) (Fig. 9.1.aq.).

• Removing the left lip carcass (222) and the right lip carcass (223) of the carcass (210/1).

Reassembly

• quenching the left lip Claim carcass (222) and the right lip carcass (223) in water at 70 ° C for 5 to 10 minutes.

• Set the left lip carcass (222) on top of the mounting plate OREA lips carcass 26 by ensuring that the four pins on the left lip carcass (222) out of the left side of the OREA 26 (side marked with 'L') (Fig. 9.1.ar.).

• Push the mounting lips carcass OREA 26 in the bottom of the housing the charger and the lip insert left carcass (222) in the frame (210) pushing OREA 26 against the left side of the carcass (210/1) (Fig. 9.1.as.)

Note: The four tabs on the left lip of casing (222) must leave the carcass (210/1).

• Take a jerk mounting plate lips 26 of the OREA carcass carcass (210/1) by ensuring that the lip of the left frame (222) is still in place (Fig. 9.1.as.).

• Using the pliers isolated UT 1817 yank the 4 tabs on the lip left carcass (222) of the carcass (210/1) (Fig. 9.1.at.).

• With the help of the cutter head tilted UT 1822, 4 studs cut the lip left carcass (222) (Fig. 9.1.au.).

• Do the same for the right lip carcass (223) making sure to use the right side of the OREA 26 (side marked with an 'R') (Fig. 9.1.av.).

Disassembly

• Remove the bolt (450) as described in § 7.1.3.

• Remove the extractor (454) as described in § 7.2.1.

• (1) Keeping the ejector (464) and using the pin punch UT 2005, remove the hollow cylindrical pin (466) of the bolt body (Fig. 9.2.d.).

Caution: If the ejector (464) is not maintained during removal of the pin hollow cylindrical (466), it will be ejected from the body of the cylinder head under the action of the ejector spring (465).

Warning: Once removed, the hollow cylindrical pin (466) can not be reused and must be replaced by a new one.

• (2) Remove the ejector (464) and the ejector spring (465) of the bolt body (Fig. 9.2.d.).

Reassembly

• Insert the ejector spring (465) into the slot of the bolt body (Fig. 9.2.e.).

• Insert the ejector (464) into the slot of the bolt body taking care to position the bevelled end and outwardly from the side of its groove pin hole of the body of receiver (Fig. 9.2.e.).

• Intoduire the pin extractor UT 2005 in the pin hole of the bolt body.

• Insert a new cotter pin hollow cylindrical (466) from above the bolt body the pin hole correrspondant gently pulling the pin punch UT 2005 (Fig. 9.2.f.).

Note: The hollow cylindrical pin (466) must not exceed once ascent.

• Check that the ejector (464) is working properly by pressing and releasing.

• Replace the extractor (454) as described in § 7.3.1.

• Refit the bolt (450) as described in § 7.4.3.

• Remove the rear support of the recoil spring (438), the recoil spring (435) and carrier supporting the return spring (436) of said slide rod (434) (Fig. 9.2.i.).

• If necessary, remove the snap ring (437) out of its groove in the rod slide (434) with a screwdriver UT 1905 (Fig. 9.2.j.).

Warning: Once removed, the elastic ring (437) can not be reused and must be replaced by a new one.

Reassembly

• If the resilient ring (437) has been removed, a new insert in the groove of the rod slide (434) from the front of the slide rod (434) (Fig. 9.2.k.).

• Replace the front support of the recoil spring (436), the recoil spring (435) and Posterior support of the recoil spring (438) on said slide rod (434) to the elastic ring (437) (Fig. 9.2.l.).

Warning: There is a way of raising the rear spring support recuperator (438): its narrowest part is pressed against the return spring (435) (Fig. 9.2.l.).

• Compressing slightly recoil spring (435), introducing said slide rod (434) the slider body (Fig. 9.2.n.).

• Using the wrench UT 1306, completely screw the slide rod (434) in the the slider body (Fig. 9.2.n.).

• When the slide rod (434) is to stop, unscrew it one full turn.

• Calibrate the length of the slide rod (434) (see the procedure in § 10.7.). If necessary, adjusting the length of said slide rod (434) using the spanner UT 1306.

Note: The purpose of this procedure is to verify that the distance between the front end of the said slide rod (434) and the front face of the slider body is within the tolerance required.

• Introduce new spiral spring pin (439) by the flat part of the body of slide (Fig. 9.2.o.).

Warning: The spiral spring pin (439) must not exceed once ascent.

• Replace the latch (411) as described in § 7.4.3.

• Replace the moving parts assembly (410) as described in § 7.4.3.

Reassembly

• Remove the trigger rod (269) as described in § 9.3.6.

• (1) By pressing the sensor switch, (2) remove the key removal assembly (230) of the carcass (210/1) taking care not to lose the pushbutton selector (253 / A) and spring key Removal (235) (Fig. 9.3.z.).

• If necessary, remove the push selector (253 / A) and the spring lever from (235) Removal of the key (Fig. 9.3.aa.).

Reassembly

• Replace the spring removal key (235) and push the selector (253 / A) in the slot on the side of the key removal (Fig. 9.3.ab.).

• Insert the key removal assembly (230) on the left side of the carcass (210/1) ensuring that the pusher selector (253 / A) is directed towards the front of the carcass (210/1) (Fig. 9.3.ac.).

• By pushing the probe tips downwards, press the key removal assembly (230) in the housing (210/1) (Fig. 9.3.ac.).

• Refit the rod relaxation (269) as described in § 9.3.6.


• Replace the moving parts assembly (410) as described in the maintenance procedure campaign (in § 7.4.3. § in 7.4.4.).

CHAPTER 10: INSPECTIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS

Before intervetion the Integrated Weapon System F2000 Tactical, be sure to be familiar with the safety information given in Chapter 4 of the Maintenance Manual.

On REGLAGEMOYEN IMP'IMPA10 .1. SET POINT AVERAGE OF IMPA CT (PMI) USING BODIES OF SIGHT MECHANICAL

• Determine the mean point of impact (PMI) on the target.

If the MIP is a point (P1), located 14 mm above the point of sight (P) onto a target located 50 m, or 73 mm located above the point of referred to (P) on a target at 100 m, the shooting accuracy is correct.

The use of a point (P1) during the verification procedure 50 m or 100 m allows ensure proper shooting accuracy to 250 m.

If this is not the case, the shooting accuracy should be adjusted by regulating bodies under mechanical (see § 10.2)..

10.2. ADJUSTMENT OF MECHANICAL COMPONENTS REFERRED

To adjust the sights, proceed as follows:

• Determine the mean point of impact (PMI).

If PMI is the imaginary point (P1), the adjustment procedure is not necessary.

If the MIP does not match the imaginary point (P1), carry out the procedure adjustment described below.

• If adjustment in azimuth point average impact (PMI) is required, turn 1/4 turn screw up square head (Fig. 10.2.a.).

PMI to move to the right, turn the screw clockwise increases.

PMI to move to the left, turn the screw in the direction of rising anti- clockwise.

Each rotation 1/4 turn alter the position of the PMI of 2.25 cm on a target located at 50 m and 4.5 cm at a target at 100 m.

• If adjustment in elevation is necessary to rotate one quarter turn of the handle using the OREA 255 (Fig. 10.2.b.).

To reassemble the PMI, turn the handlebar clockwise.

PMI to lower, turn the handlebar in the anti-clockwise.

Each rotation 1/4 turn change the vertical position of 4.5 cm on PMI a target at 50 m and 9 cm on a target at 100 m.

• Check the setting by determining the PMI once again following the procedure described in § 10.1.

10.3.1. Preparation

• Remove the bracket and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) as described in maintenance procedures campaign (§ 7.1.1. § in 7.1.2.).

• Clean and dry the barrel as described in Chapter 8.

• Visually inspect the outside of the barrel.

• Visually inspect the caliber of the gun.

10.3.2. Making calibration ball

• Introduce the class without forcing wear G018 (warning and disposal) in the room gun and check that the marks 'warning' and 'reject' do not pass the rear end of the barrel extension.

The warning area is achieved when the gauge enters the chamber barrel chamber from the side of at least 95 mm, that is to say when the first notch located on the shank of the gauge reaches or exceeds the rear face of the barrel extension.

The gun is off when the second notch located 110 mm rod gauge coincides with or exceeds the rear face of the barrel extension. In this case, the gun can not be used and must be replaced.

10.3.3. Checking the correctness of the barrel

• Place the assembled media and Tactical barrel (110/1) in a vertical position and insert the control rod straightness G026 barrel in the barrel by the chamber. Check if the rod simply through the barrel under the action of its own weight.

Warning: Catching the control rod straightness G026 cannon at the other end of barrel to prevent it from falling.

If the control rod straightness of the barrel through the barrel without G026 problem, gun is functional.

The groove is the distance between the bottom of the housing of the cylinder head (450) and a conventional diameter the nose cone of the barrel chamber. This distance corresponds to the space available for the sleeve.

The calibration of the rebate is crucial because it determines the correct operation of weapon in complete safety. This calibration must be performed during periodic inspections but also after any intervention on the media and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) and the bolt (450).

The procedure for checking and calibration is to check the locking of the bolt (450) into inserting different sizes of rebate in the barrel chamber.

• If necessary, clean the front of the head (450) and the chamber as described in Chapter 8.

• Open the cover (271) to access the room.

• Put the gun so that the barrel is pointing down.

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards and then pull upwards to lock in the rear position (Fig. 10.4.b.).

• Rotate the lever (411) (Fig. 10.4.c.) and insert the caliber rebate 'mini' G115 in the chamber of the barrel.

• To check that the bolt (450) is properly locked, proceed as follows:

- Set the fire selector and safety (255) in position '1 '(BLOW BY BLOW BY BLOW COUP1).

- Pull the trigger and make sure the bolt (450) is fully locked: the locking cam (424) must be located in the abutting ramp unlocking (Fig. 10.4.d.).

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards and then pull upwards to lock in the rear position (Fig. 10.4.b.).

• Placing the weapon so that the barrel pointing upwards and remove the template rebate 'mini' G115.

• Repeat the above procedure with the caliber rebate 'waste' G117 and ensure that the yoke (450) is not locked: the locking cam (424) is not in stop in the unlocking ramp (Fig. 10.4.e.).

The rebate is valid if the caliber rebate 'mini' still allows the G115 correct locking of the bolt (450) and if the size of the rebate 'waste' G117 always prevents the lock bolt (450).

The rebate is incorrect in all other cases.

• If the rebate is not correct, check if you can solve the problem by replacing either the head (450) as described in § 7.1.3. and § 7.4.3. the barrel is assembled (150) as described in § 9.1.5.

Warning: If the media and assembled gun Tactical (110/1) is replaced, check rate of fire and shooting accuracy (see § 10.1.) and, if necessary, setting bodies under mechanical (see § 10.2)..

• If necessary, clean the front face of the yoke (450) and the extractor (454) as described in Chapter 8.

• With the caliber of lateral projection of the extractor G119, check the lateral projection of extractor (454) as follows:

- Show the flat face of the gauge of side projection of the extractor at the front of G119 the cylinder head (450) ensuring the guide notch in front of the ejector (464).

If the notch of the pattern of side projection of the extractor G119 is not placed in front of the ejector (464), the verification procedure will not validating for the ejector (464) is interfere with the template.

- Pressing the template against the front of the cylinder head (450).

The lateral projection of the extractor (454) is correct if the end of the template lateral projection of the extractor G119 can not reach the bottom of the bowl head when pushed gently.

In this case, the procedure is completed. Then proceed to the procedure verification and calibration described in § 10.5.2.

The lateral projection of the extractor (454) is incorrect if the tip of the gauge of side projection of the extractor G119 can reach the bottom of the bowl head when pushed gently.

In this case, the extractor (454) and springs (455) are to be replaced as described in § 7.2.1 and § 7.3.1.

Note: Alternative procedure: value metrologically control: the bolt (450) and the extractor (454) form a cylinder 8.86 mm in diameter.

10.5.2. Verification and calibration of the longitudinal projection the extractor (454)

The longitudinal projection of the extractor (454) is the distance between the tip of the extractor (454) and the bottom cup of the yoke (450).

This distance is the space for the rim of the cartridge.

• If not already done, remove the moving parts assembly (410) as described in § 7.1.3.

• Using longitudinal projection of the caliber of the extractor G118, check the projection Longitudinal extractor (454) as follows:

- Pressing the planar face of the end 'quick' against the bottom of the caliber of the bowl yoke (450).

- Ensuring maintain a clean contact between the probe and the bottom of the bowl yoke (450), rotate the arms under the spout of the extractor (454).

- Repeat this procedure with the next 'maxi' caliber.

The projection of the striker (427) is the distance between the protruding end of the striker (427) and the bottom of bowl of the yoke (450) when the bolt (450) has been locked in the chamber.

Verification and calibration of the projection of the striker (427) must be made during regular inspections but also when replacing the firing pin (427) and the yoke (450).


• If necessary, clean the cylinder head (450) as described in Chapter 8.

• zeroed caliber firing pin protrusion G121 as follows:

- Place the pointer of the gauge of the firing pin protruding into the housing of G121 Template G122 zeroing provided for this purpose.

- Align the needle of the gauge projection of G121 striker on the zero mark.

• Using the gauge projection of striker G121, check the protrusion of the firing pin (427) in as follows:

- In now moving parts assemblies (410) with vertical slide rod (434) upwardly directed, lay the assembly on a planar suface bearing on the end of striker (427).

- Lift index yoke and press the yoke (450) in its housing in the body slide.

- Taking the class in the other hand, place the pointer in the gauge housing striker (427) at the front of the cylinder head (450) and pressing the template against the bottom of cup of the yoke (450).

- Measure the protrusion of the striker (427) on the scale of the gauge.

If the measurement is between -20 and +20, the protrusion of the firing pin (427) is correct.

Otherwise, the projection of the striker (427) is incorrect, and the striker (427) must be replaced as described in § 7.1.3. and § 7.4.3.

After replacing the firing pin (427), the process of verification and calibration must be repeated.

Note: Alternative procedure: value metrologically control: the projection of the striker (427) is 1.02 ± 0.2 mm.

Verification and calibration of the slide rod (434) must be made at periodic inspection but also after any intervention thereon (Disassembly, assembly, ...).


• If necessary, clean the moving parts assembly (410) as described in Chapter 8.

• Holding assemblies moving parts (410) with vertical slide rod (434) directed upwards, the slider body put on a flat surface.

• Use of the gauge G114, check the length of the slide rod (434) as follows:

- Taking the gauge G114 vertically, place the pin on the rotating face before the slider body.

- Rotate the end 'NO GO' caliber G114 to control rod slide (434). The end of 'NO GO' caliber should be blocked by the rod slide (434).

- Rotate the end 'GO' of the inspection gauge G114 to said slide rod (434). The end 'GO' of the caliber must pass above said slide rod (434).

If the checks 'NO GO' and 'GO' are conclusive, the length of the rod slide (434) is correct.

Otherwise, the length of the slide rod (434) is incorrect and must be adjusted by tightening or loosening said slide rod (434) in the body of slide.

Caution: If the coiled spring pin (439) has not been removed, remove slide out of the body as described in § 9.2.3.

Using the spanner UT 1306 of the flat on the slide rod (434) provided for this, tighten or loosen the slide rod (434) a fraction of a turn.

Once the slide rod (434) tightened or loosened, the verification procedure and calibration must be repeated.

Warning: Once the process of verification and calibration is complete, go back a new spiral spring pin (439) in the slider body as described in § 9.2.3.

PASQUAND11.1. WEAPON NOT FIRE CORRECTLY WHEN THE TRIGGER IS PRESSED

The following verification procedure solves the majority of problems that are not caused by failure of a component.

If this does not solve the problem, check whether a common problem, presented in § 11.2., is encountered. If this is the case, apply the recommended solution.

If the problem persists despite various corrective actions specified above, the weapon should not be used until it has been examined by a qualified operator.

Verification procedure

• Set the fire selector and safety (255) in position 'S' (SURETESURETE). S SAFETY

• Press the lock button charger (247) and remove the magazine (601) out of the gun.

• Check the charger 30 cartridges (601).

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards then let back forward accompanying it.

If a cartridge or socket was present in the room, it will be ejected from the weapon by the ejection port on the front of the weapon.

• Open the cover (271).

• Pull the lever arms completely backwards and hold it position.

• Ensure that the room is not dirty.

• By pointing the gun in a safe direction, leave the lever back Arming forward accompanying moving parts.

• Check that the internal components of the gun are not excessively dirty.

• Reset the weapon as described in § 6.2.

• In pointing in a safe direction, test the operation vacuum squeezing the trigger.
