EPOXIES AND AMINES:HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION

• Care should be taken to mix the fillerproperly, so that the two componentshave a chance to fully react with eachother.

• It is important not to allow any of theproduct to come into contact with theskin.

• If the product does come into contactwith the skin wash it off immediately withsoap and water to avoid any irritation orburns.

• Sensitisation is rare.

MIXING AND APPLICATIONOF TWO-PACK EPOXIES• Work as cleanly as possible and do

not allow overalls to become badlycontaminated. Change overalls regularly.

• Even though it may be tempting toreduce the amount of personal protectiveequipment, for eg. in hot conditions, it isessential to wear the recommendedprotective equipment and clothing.

RECOMMENDED CLOTHING /SKIN AND EYE PROTECTIONWHEN MIXING TWO-PACK EPOXIES

• Always wear safety glasses when workingwith any fillers or paint products.

• Disposable paper overalls may be usedfor convenience, although we believe thatcotton overalls (white in hot climates) arethe better choice.

• Barrier cream should never be worninstead of personal protective equipmentand clothing.

SANDING OF CURED FILLER• Sanding is tiring work and the dust can

easily coat sweat saturated skin.

• Bare skin should be kept covered.

• Always wear safety glasses when workingwith any fillers or paint products.

• Additionally a dust mask should be wornwhen sanding filler to reduce/eliminateexposure to the dust by inhalation.
