SG #1 (Hackleman) — will go to the Shiloh Museum on Thursday, October 10 and leave from the church at 9:15 am. The program will be “Down in the Holler.” Afterwards, we’ll lunch at The Market Place. RSVP to Bob or Joyce Tyson (855-8796).

SG #4 (Nichols/Leavens) - is planning a potluck gathering for Sunday evening, October 13 at 5:30 pm at Kathy Fidler’s home. Mark your calendar and locate a picture of yourself (2-10 years of age) for the activity. PLEASE HAVE YOUR PICTURES TO HER (OR HER BOX BY THE OFFICE) BY THIS TUESDAY.

SG #6 (Bean) — will be heading to the “Local Lime” restaurant on Thursday, October 17. We’ll gather at the restaurant at 4:30 pm and then go in and eat. The address is: 2103 S Promenade Blvd., in Rogers. Visit their website (www.locallimetaco.com) to view the menu.

SG #5 (Shelton) — will be take the church bus to view the changing of the leaves on Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 am. We’ll stop for lunch at the OARK General Store, then it’s back to the church at approximately 4:00 pm. RSVP to Ron or Kay Burroughs (866-9040 or 640-1198).

The Fellowship Committee of PCBV is presenting the movie, “The Ultimate Gift”, in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday, October 24 at 6:00 pm. It’s a 2006 movie about a young man of privilege whose sent on an improbable journey. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors! Just make sure you all sign up at the Information Center. Coffee, ice water, soft drinks and popcorn will be served.

Do you have library experience or know someone who does? Emily Dieleman was the church’s librarian for 20 years and, due to her passing, we are currently seeking a volunteer or group of volunteers to continue her work in the library. Please contact Elaine Jones (918-857-1675) if interested.

The Women’s Book Club meets the last Thursday of each month. The next meeting is at 10:00 am on Thurs., Oct. 31 in the church Parlor. For this month, read a book that is set in a place other than the USA.
