This is the 10th school reunion. Everybody tells what they do.

So do I.

Page 2: 10 years

„I’m a night-watchman. I sit in my booth gazing at the sky. I watch the stars.”

I’m a clerk. I dash about with stacks of files.

I’m unemployed. I write my CVs.

Page 3: 10 years

We’re staring at each other.

We’re sympathetically nodding.

Page 4: 10 years

Now the guys in suits rise to speak.

Page 5: 10 years

„I’m a broker. I handle tons of money”

„I’m a doctor. I fix broken bones, heal bleeding wounds.”

„I’m a CEO. I hold the fate of 2300 people in my hands. It’s me who decides what is stated in people’s CV.”

Page 6: 10 years

We’re humming. We’re green with envy.

That’s what you call success, appreciation, respect.

Page 7: 10 years

In the restaurant now we are 26.

Two hours earlier , this is what happened to 23 of them:

Page 8: 10 years

Sits in. Switches the key.

The engine revs up. Looks in the mirror, shifts gear. Slowly releases the brake. Depresses the accelerator, eases out. Stops at the traffic lights, waits for the green. Gets to the highway, accelerates. Somebody cuts him off, slams on the brake.

Avoids collision.

Page 9: 10 years

Drives fast on the highway. Sign shows the exit.

It takes only a few minutes. Pulls up in front of the restaurant. Parks the car. Presses the button of the remote controller. The index flashes twice.

Enters the restaurant.

Page 10: 10 years

Now it’s me who is telling what I do…

Page 11: 10 years

„quality assurance”

Now nobody is green with envy. They all think:

quality assurance = boredom.

Boring job. Boring life. Boring man.

Page 12: 10 years

They don’t know, what I do:

Page 13: 10 years

Two hours earlier this is what happened to 23 of them:

Page 14: 10 years

Sits in. Switches the key. The engine revs up. It always starts. All of the 2945 parts work. Always. It is 2009.

At the traffic lights he waits for the green light. It is green for him, and red for the others. It is obvious. It is 2009.

Page 15: 10 years

Somebody cuts him off. Slams on the brake. The brakes screech. The ABS rattles. The wheels do not slip. It is 2009.

The software works fine. Quick. Accurate.

Presses the button of the remote controller. The index flashes twice. The doors are closing. It is 2009.

Page 16: 10 years

It is 2009.

Page 17: 10 years

So it is obvious.

It is 2009.

Page 18: 10 years

All parts of the car, are produced with the smallest tolerance. First go. It is obvious.

All processes involved in the manufacturing of the car are optimized. For fail-safe. For efficiency. It is: obvious.

In the car at least 15-20 softwares run at the same time. Quick as thought. It is obvious.

Page 19: 10 years

In case of trouble, the car’s serviceman is there in two hours. It is obvious.

Anywhere in Europe. In case of need: here, in front of the restaurant.

It is obvious.

Page 20: 10 years

In 2009 it is obvious. This is evolution.

And evolution is exciting.

Page 21: 10 years

In 2009 it is obvious. This is evolution.

And evolution is exciting.

No limits.

Page 22: 10 years

In 2009 it is obvious. This is evolution.

And evolution is exciting.

No limits.

And behind every step of evolution there is:

Page 23: 10 years

In 2009 it is obvious. This is evolution.

And evolution is exciting.

No limits.

And behind every step of evolution there is:

Quality Assurance

Page 24: 10 years

What do you think?

Page 25: 10 years

Is it boring?
