I. IMS LLC understand the difference between effectiveness and efficiency.
i. Effectiveness is about getting a job done on time, to an end-customer’s satisfaction. In the case of a motor racing team, the measure would be whether or not they won the race.
ii. Efficiency is about how many resources had to be expended to achieve the desired result. In the case of the motor race team, we could measure the overall cost of operating the team.
