About About AAMM//SSBB card card The A cardM card corresponds with the WCDMA USIM card and the B cardS card

corresponds with the GSM SIM card.

For AM/SB card service-related problems, consult your A/BM/S card network service provider.

Before inserting and removinge the A/BM/S card, please turn the phone off.

2.12.1 Notice to the Use of Notice to the Use of PhonePhone Before you use the phone, please carefully read this section to grasp the correct

method of use and ensure the safety of the holder, others and properties.

All the screens in this manual are for reference only, and some contents actually displayed may depend on the presetting of the service provider or the network operator, or the A/BM/S card. If any functions referred to in this manual are different from those of your phone, please follow your phone.

The specifications and appearance of this product are subject to change due to improvement of functions without notice.

Please back up your important data timely and keep them properly. The company is not liable for any failure to call or loss of data due to misoperation, poor signal or power cut, etc.

Do not use the phone in an environment of extremely high or low temperature, otherwise, malfunctions may be caused. Use the phone in temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC and a humidity of 35% to 85%.

Using the phone in an environment of moist or high humidity may cause malfunctions of the phone, the charger and the battery.

Do not drop or strongly impact the phone, otherwise, malfunctions may be caused and the phone can’t be used.

Turn your phone off when you are near electrical blasting caps, in a blasting area, or at the gas station. Obey all signs and instructions.

Do not use the phone near any electronic device vulnerable to interference. Otherwise, malfunctions of electronic device may be caused. Such electronic devices include medical electronic devices, such as hearing aids and pacemaker, fire alarms, auto doors and other automatic equipment. If you have to use the phone near such devices, please first consult the manufacturers and dealers of these devices to avoid interference.

Switch off the phone when you are on the plane or in the hospital where the use of mobile phones is prohibited to avoid interfering with electronic and medical equipment. If you have to use the phone in such places, please follow the regulations of the sites.

Don’t use your phone while driving, as this is dangerous and could cause a traffic accident. Pull over and park in a safe place before making or answering a call. Use hands-free operation, if available.

The phone has an internal antenna. When switched on, do not hold the antenna area

(the WCDMA antenna areais on the top and the GSM one is on the bottom), otherwise, the quality of connection and the performance of the antenna may be influenced, and the max. talk time may be reduced.

To avoid degaussing, do not put financial cards, phone cards or other magnetic cards near the charger and the phone to avoid failure of use due to the cards.

Do not place the phone and the battery under direct sunlight or in a car under burning sun or other places of high temperature to avoid injury due to overheating, leakage, cracking, distortion, or even fire of the battery.

Do not put the phone in a place with excessive dust or vibration (which may cause failure) to avoid malfunctions of the phone.

Do not take apart the phone, the charger and the battery, or modify the internal structure without permission to avoid malfunctions and accidents.

Do not let children fiddle with the phone or the accessories to avoid injuring themselves or others, or damaging the phone or the accessories. The phone or the accessories may contain small removable components which may easily cause suffocation of children.

If the phone is contaminated, please wipe it with a dry cloth. Do not use organic solvent such as gasoline to wipe the phone to avoid causing damages of the outer surface.

If smoke or peculiar smell is produced during use, please immediately switch off the phone and remove the battery. Please have the phone repaired as arranged by the store where you bought the phone. Do not continue to use to avoid causing injury.

Do not dispose the phone as urban waste. For details, please refer to the local regulations for the disposition of waste electronics.

2.22.2 Notice to the Use of Battery and ChargerNotice to the Use of Battery and Charger The time for using the battery is an estimated time under 25 and stable signal. If℃

used in a place with weak signal, extremely high or low temperature, or outside the service area, the consumption of battery power will be faster, thus the standby time and max. talk time may be reduced.

Please use the accessories, such as battery and charger, specified by the company to avoid risks due to overheating, leakage, explosion, or even fire of the battery caused by non-compliance with the specifications. You can consult the lable attached to the battery or charger for specifications.

The battery should be put in a cool, ventilative and sunlight-free place. If the battery is in the exhausting status for a long time, it can’t be charged. Therefore, if you do not use the phone for long, please charge the battery periodically.

The battery is expendable goods. All the batteries have a certain life. If the performance of the battery can’t be improved after repeated charging, the battery may be discarded as useless and must be replaced with a new one.

Please fully charge the battery before you use the newly bought phone.

Do not charge the battery in a place with direct sunlight, a temperature equaling to or below 0 or equaling to or above 45 , high humidity, excessive dust or vibration℃ ℃ (which may cause failure), or a place near TV or radio (as it may produce noise interference to video or sound signal).

Please switch off the phone and wait over 2 seconds before removing the battery.

Do not short the two polarities of the battery to avoid leakage, overheating, fire or explosion of the battery.

If leakage of the battery enters the eyes accidentally, please immediately wash the eyes with fresh water and go to a doctor. If it is not treated quickly, it may cause serious injury, such as blindness.

If the battery is contaminated with liquid, it may cause burn or malfunctions due to overheating of the battery. The charger may also cause overheating, damages, electric shock and malfunctions. If the charger is accidentally sunk in water, or smoke or peculiar smell is produced during charging, please immediately switch off the phone and unplug the AC cable from the socket. Please have the phone repaired as arranged by the store where you bought the phone. Do not continue to use to avoid causing injury.

Do not put the charger and the AC cable in a place with flame or ovens to avoid causing injury due to overheating, leakage or fire of the battery.

Do not touch the charger, the power cable and the plug of AC power supply with wet hands to avoid electric shock or malfunctions.

Do not strongly pull the wire of the charger, or put heavy objects on the power cable, or change the power cable optionally, otherwise, electric shock or fire may be caused.

When the battery is fully charged, please unplug the charger from the socket.

Do not dispose the used battery together with daily waste. Please dispose the used battery in accordance with the regulations issued by the local authority.

3.6 3.6 About About A/A/BBM/SM/S ccardard,, mmicroSD Card andicroSD Card and bbatteryatteryPlease keppstore the cards out of the reach of children.The cards and the contacts are vulnerable to damages due to scratching or bending. Therefore, be careful when using, inserting or removing the cards.Be sure to switch off the phone before you insert or remove the battery or the cards, otherwise, the phone may be damaged. Don’t remove the microSD card when functions related to the card are being executed.Use only compatible microSD cards with this phone. The phone utilizes the approved industry standards for memory cards but not all other brands may function correctly or be fully compatible with the phone. Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well as the phone, and data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted.

To insert A/BM/S card and battery1. Place the A/BM/S card’s metal contact point face down, match to the correct contact

position in the A/BM/S card slot. The left slot is for A cardM card (i.e. WCDMA USIM card slot), and the right slot is for B cardS card (i.e. GSM SIM card slot).

2. Match the battery’s metal contact points with the corresponding spring pins in the

battery slot, and then press the battery down into position.

3. Slide the battery cover up into position.

Tip: Be sure to use the original battery.

To remove the battery and A/BM/S card1. Press Power key until the phone turns off.2. Press the battery cover latch, slide the cover down and remove it off the phone.

3. Lift the battery in the direction of the arrow to remove it.

4. To remove the A/BM/S card, gently press and slide card out from the A/BM/S slot.

To insert/remove microSDPress Power key until the phone turns off. Open the memory card lid on the left side of the phone and insert/remove the card. Then lock the lid.

To charge the batteryYour mobile phone battery has been charged to 50% capacity and can be used immediately. However, it is best to charge it for 4 hours before the first time of use, and charge the second time only after using the phone until the battery has been fully discharged. Repeat this full charge/discharge cycle several times, and the battery will reach peak performance.1. Plug the power cord in the phone. Connect the other end of the power cord to the

charger and then plug the charger into the appropriate electrical outlet (Figure 1). During charging, the battery icon will keep flashing.

2. When charging is complete, the battery icon stops flashing.3. After the charging, unplug the charger from the electrical outlet, and then press the

buttons on the power cord connector to unplug the power cord from the phone (Figure 2).

Tips:

The battery icon displayed on the screen indicates that the battery power is low. Please charge the battery following the steps above.Charging when the phone is in the ON mode will not influence the normal dialing and answering. If the phone is used continuously under low battery, charging will take longer than normal.We suggest you recharge the battery when the power is used up so as to prolong the life of the battery.

If the A/BM/S (U)SIM card has been inserted in the phone and the A/BM/S PIN Protection is activated, you need to input the 4~8 digits password to unlock. Warning: If you input three wrong PIN codes in a row, the A/BM/S (U)SIM card will be locked and you need to input the PUK code to unlock. Both the PIN code and PUK code are provided by your service provider. To switch off: In the standby mode, long press Power key.

When make calls or send messages, the Answer key (M) is used for A cardM card network and the Answer key (S) is used for B cardS card network. Answer key (M) and Answer key (S) are used for A cardM card network.B S mode:Use the B cardS card network make and received calls, send and received messages, and use the B cardS card valued-added services. Answer key (M) and Answer key (S) are used for B cardS card network.

3.9 3.9 Standby Standby ooperationperationThe so-called “standby state” refers to the standard mode where the phone has been normally switched on and logged in the network, but no calls are in process or no menu is used. 44 PhonePhone bb ookook You can store names and phone numbers either on the phone’s internal memory or on the A/BM/S (U)SIM card. The phone memory stores up to 1000 entries. For A/BM/S (U)SIM card memory storage, the maximum number of saved contacts depends on the A/BM/S card.

In idle press Names or Menu > Phonebook

Phone book includes the following tabs: “All”, “Phone”, “A M Card”, “B S Card” and “Group”. Press Navigation key (Left/Right) to switch.

4.1 4.1 AllAllIn the “All” tab you can execute operations for entries saved both in the phone’s internal memory, the A cardM card and B cardS card memory.

4.1.1 To add an entry

Input the phone number in idle, then select Options > Save to select the location for saving.Or: Menu > Phonebook > Options > New

4.1.2 To search the phonebook

In the contacts list, enter the first letter of the contact’s name, the entries starting with the letter are shown on the screen.

4.1.3 To view an entry

In the contacts list, select the desired entry.Press Middle key or Options > ViewTip: When viewing the entry, you can do the following operations: Press Answer key (M)/Answer key (S) to call. Press Navigation key (Left/Right) to view the previous/next entry. Press Options for relevant options.

4.1.4 To make a voice call

In the contacts list, select the desired entry.Press Answer key (M)/Answer key (S)Tip: In the AM&SB mode, press Answer key (M) to make calls via the A cardM card network and press Answer key (S) to make calls via the B cardS card network.

4.1.5 To make a video call

In the contacts list, select the desired entry.Options > Video Call

In the contacts list, select the desired entry.Options > Copy > Phone to A M Card/ Phone to B S CardYou can copy multiple entries at one time.In the contacts list, Options > Multi-Copy > Phone to A M Card/ Phone to BS CardPress the Middle key repeatedly to tick or un-tick the entry (or press Options > Select All/Cancel All, and then press Options > Copy)

4.1.10 To send contact

In the contacts list, select the desired entry.Options > Send Contact > SMS/MMS/Bluetooth/Send All via Bluetooth

4.1.11 Memory query

In the contacts list: Options > Memory Query

4.1.12 To import/export entries

You can export contact entries to memory card or import them in .vcf format. In the contacts list:Options > Import&Export > ExportTo export all the entries stored in the phone memory and A/BM/S cards to the “Contacts” folder of the memory card.

Options > Import&Export > Import

To import all the entries from the “Contacts” folder of the memory card to the Phone Book of the phone memory. The entries can’t be imported to A/BM/S cards.

1. Ask the other party of the current call not to end, and select Options > Hold to hold the current call.

2. Input and dial a new number, then talk with him/her after he/she answers your call.

3. Select Options > Conference to connect all the parties and form a conference.

4. Continue to dial new numbers, and repeat the steps above to add more parties to the conference.

Tip: After a conference is formed, if you press End key, you will end all the calls.

Unable to switch on

Is the battery power low? Charge the battery.

Is the phone number correct? Check that the number is correct.

Communication interrupted suddenly

Are you in a place with weak signal?

Move to a place with strong signal.

Is there any object around that obstructs signal transmission?

Go to another place.

Are you moving in high speed during conversation?

The signal will interrupt when the phone switch between 2 cell station. Please move in low speed.

Unable to charge the battery

Is the charger plugged to the phone correctly?

Plug the charger to the phone correctly.

Is the power cable of the charger disconnected from the socket?

Check the connection.

Is the battery too old? Contact the seller to
