• Interest in RDA remains high

• Enthusiasm is tempered by the challenges of translation and implementation

• Some concerns about national practices

• Libraries are cautious pending outcome of US National testing

• Alan Danskin encouraged agencies to report national practices that cannot be reconciled with RDA. – JSC will discuss how to resolve them – Email [email protected]

• New Toolkit functionality enables explicit links to policy documents.– Released soon for LC Policy Statements (LCPS)– Other national policies can be incorporated given

reasonable lead time for coding and development
