Prisen Årets innovasjonsmiljø gikk til SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing og vertskommunen Vestre Toten. Sammen har de bidratt til å skape positiv oppmerksomhet om det industrielle miljøet i innlandet. Vinnerne premieres for langsiktig, målrettet samarbeid om felles utfordringer innenfor innovasjon og verdiskaping.

Samarbeidet mellom næringsklyngen og vertskommunen har hatt en betydelig effekt for enkeltbedrifter og for hele det industrielle miljøet i regionen. Bedriftene i miljøet er i en krevende og konkurranseutsatt næring, og samarbeidet har vært avgjørende for at de har kunnet bevare og forsterke sin konkurranseposisjon.
