adhesive-free ‘Click’ installation
locking system. This makes it easy
to install even without a toolbox. All
you need is a hammer and a simple
tapping block to put your flooring
in place. These ‘Click’ panels can
be installed on all dry subfloors and
on suitable underlays. They can be
dislodged, reinstalled and reused
without any trouble.

you have indeed opted for the best.
Ego Laminates promise you the best
quality comfort, excellent designs,
ruggedness, security a long life and
affordability. Certainly a decision you’ll
be glad to have taken!
If you thought traditional parquet flooring
was the best, its time you think again.
Laminate floors have a lot of advantages
over normal wooden flooring. All EGO
flooring laminates are largely made of wood
and other highly refined materials. They
are harder tougher multi-purpose, have
a very high load capacity and are easier
to maintain. They are also available in a
wide variety for you to choose from. They
are easy on your pocket and less fussy to
handle vis-a-vis traditional flooring. Our
large format panels are easy to install and
cost effective, even for large spaces.
5
natural and environment friendly
EGO laminated wooden floors are made
from fresh wood from ecological forest
thinning operations. They form the
high- density fiber core of our panels.
All production processes are strictly
controlled and supervised. Every EGO
laminate has a consistency of 80-85% of
natural high density fiber wood. There are
no traces of any harmful substances like
halogen, chloride, PVC, PCB or dioxin
refuse, all in an effort to keep your room
natural and hygienic. EGO laminated floors
are especially recommended for persons
allergic to dust. If you need to ever replace
the laminate floors, you could dispose them
like any other domestic refuse.

how durable is your laminate flooring? An important step in choosing a laminate floor is determining the level of
durability you require. Industry certified AC Ratings help you decide if a laminate
floor has the right durability for your particular project. You’ll find the AC rating for
each product shown on the Product Detail page.
here are the levels of ac ratings:
• AC3 - laminate flooring is designed for high-traffic residential areas and may
also be used in commercial areas with light traffic
• AC4 - laminate flooring is designed for commercial applications with moderately
intense traffic. Ideal for small shops and offices.
• AC5 - laminate flooring is designed for high-traffic commercial areas like
department stores, shopping centers, and office buildings.
Laminate flooring is both practical and beautiful. Color, texture and overall
appearance are the main attributes most people look for when choosing new
laminate flooring for their home. But, knowing the AC Rating of your selection
will give you the added confidence that you are making the right choice for your
purpose and for your pocketbook.

installation
LAMINATED FLOORING1) Can I install the flooring in my bathroom or another room that constantly gets wet?Ans- Laminated flooring cannot be installed in bathrooms or any room like it because the water will make the planks swell.
2) Can I install laminated flooring in my kitchen?Ans- Laminated flooring can be installed in kitchens but you need to follow specific guidelines. It is recommended to install laminated flooring with a high wear resistance of min. Class32/AC4. Occasional splashes of water must be wiped off immediately.
3) How do I clean my laminated flooring?Ans- Laminated flooring is easy to clean. For detailed instruction, see our maintenance section for general and specific cleaning.
4) Do I follow a specific direction while installing laminated flooring in a room?Ans- Installing the planks in the same direction as the main light source in the room is the best way to put laminated flooring.
5) Can I use laminated flooring in combination with under-floor heating?Ans- Laminated flooring can easily be used in combination with water floor heating on condition that the warm water tubes are min 3 cm underneath the surface and the water in the tubes doesn’t exceed 28’C. Please follow the guidance of your under-floor heating installer. We recommend avoiding high temperature variations (plus and minus) when switching on/off the under-floor heating.
6) Can I put laminated floor on the stairs?Ans- Laminated floor can be installed on stairs. We recommend gluing the laminate plank on the stair or install on commercial plywood and to finish with a stair nose.
7) Are laminated floors resistant to scratches?Ans-Laminate flooring have a wide range of floor planks with different scratch resistance level (from AC3 to AC5) for residential and commercial use. However laminated floors are not scratch proof. A sharp object can damage the floor. Impact of a high heel shoe or the soft rubber wheels of official chairs pose no problem whatsoever, though we do recommend that chairs or furniture legs be covered with felt or plastic caps. Sand or grit on the floor should be avoided as much as possible. You can do that simply placing a good quality doormat at the entrance.
8) Are laminated floors healthy?Ans- Laminate floor are environmentally friendly. The use of “chemical” ingredients in laminate floors follows the European standard so a laminate floor takes care of your health.
10) Can I put a heavy object (e g. waterbeds, clothing cupboards…) on a laminate floor?Ans- Placing heavy objects (like water beds, clothing cupboards…) on laminate floors is not an problem, provided an 8mm expansion joint is planned off around the object afterwards, you may finish the joint with a skirting or profile. 11) What is your floor type?Ans- Our floor type is of direct pressure laminate (DPL) and high pressure laminate (HPL)
12) Can I use liquid cleaners such as phenyle etc?Ans- Laminate floor should only be cleaned by using a slightly damp but well wrung out cloth. It is not advised to use any liquid cleaner, detergents etc.
13) Can the installed laminated flooring be dismantled & re-installed at the same place or another?Ans- Yes, the existing laminate flooring can be dismantled and re-installed, provided the dismantling has to be done insuring that the locks are not damaged.
14) Can we replace a single plank or more, caused by an accidental breakage?Ans- Yes, we can replace single or more planks caused due to accidental breakage by dismantling from any of one side to the point of damage, provided the same shade material is available with the company or with you.
FAQs

MAINTENANCE
If proper precaution taken the floor would look at its best for many years to come.• Cleaning laminate flooring is simple- dirt and dust are easily removed with a vacuum or broom
• Wipe up spil ls l ike tea, coffee immediately.
• Don’t allow water to stand on your floor for any length of t ime.
• For heavier cleaning, use Ego laminate floor cleaner or a mixture of household vinegar and water (1-cup vinegar to 1-gallon warm water) or household ammonia and water (1/2 cup ammonia to 1-gallon warm water). If an accident occurs and a stain remains, you can remove the worst stains with acetone or denatured alcohol on a soft cloth without bleaching or damaging the floor. In a pinch, nail polish remover containing acetone is a handy substitute. Do not use soap or detergent-based cleaners, wax-based products or any type of polish on laminate floors, as they leave a dull,f i lmy residue.
• There is never a need to wax or refinish your laminate floor.
• For more diff icult-to-remove soil, use a cloth moistened very l ightly with plain water. Then wipe the surface with a clean dry cloth.
• Don’t use any of the following products on your floor: ammonia based cleaners, acrylic f inishes, wax based products, detergents, bleach, polishes and oil soaps, or abrasive cleaning soaps.
• Protect the laminate flooring in high traff ic areas and from excessive tracking of outside dirt and soil with mats at all entrances. Use door mats and throw rugs outside room entrances and in front of kitchen sink and refrigerator to help keep dirt and grit off your floor, and to prevent damage and excessive wear.
• Protective felt pads on chair and furniture legs are recommended to further protect the floor. Replace plastic casters on chairs with rubber wheels and lift rather than slide heavy objects across the floor.
• Occasionally, things may become “stuck” to your floor, such as gum or candle wax. This situation is best handled by letting the spot harden completely, then scraping it gently off the floor with a plastic scraper. Residue can then be removed using a clean rag damped with a l itt le Ego Laminate flooring cleaner.
• Place runners and area rugs along high traff ic areas. Move heavy appliances and furniture by cusing a dolly rolled over plywood or pressed board.
• Minor damage to a laminate plank or ti le can be easily repaired with laminate finishing putty. If the damaged area is larger than 1/4 of an inch, replacing the plank may be recommended. Please call our team to assess the damage.
