Organise your class into groups where each group represents one of the stages in the journey (e.g. the farmers). The group of farmers then discusses and decides how much of the 10p they want/deserve (and their reasons). The decision of each group (and reasons) is then shared with the whole class. It is likely that there will be considerably different views about ‘who should get what’ – negotiation will be essential!
