    The Basics

    A point of

    information lasts

    for a maximum of

    15 seconds Motions are given

    to the debate

    There are 4 teams per round,

    with 2 teams per side

    Each team is composed of 2speakers

    Each speech lasts for about 7

    minutes, with the first and last

    minute uninterrupted In the remaining 5 minutes,

    Rules for

    Challenging If a definition provided by thePrime Minister is judged to be atruism, squirrel, time/place set,or a tautology, a definitionalchallenge may be made

    ONLY the Leader of Oppositionmay initiate and issue adefinitional challenge

    If the LO doesnt challenge, NOONE else in the debate may do

    so Both closing teams have theOPTION of choosing whichdefinition to support (OGs orOOs)
