Brief Introduction
Grasping Vietnam’ s marked import- export growth rate in the first
years of 90 decade, Wan Hai Lines established its service in Vietnam in
1993, first at Saigon port, then at Haiphong port in 1996, at Danang
port in 1998.
On August 25th, 2001, Wan Hai Lines officially launched its direct
service by KVS service loop( Korea- Vietnam-Service)
Wan Hai Lines has become the leading carrier in terms of container

OCEAN FREIGHT Ocean Freight is regulated by Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) that all rates moving to/from the United States are to be filed with FMC. There are two types of rate structure in this trade: by service contract for each individual account or by public tariff. Cargo rating would be based on cargo receiving date. That is either contract amendment or tariff rate would have to be in effect on/before cargo receiving. For more than one container on the same Bill of Lading, rating would be based on “the last container received".

Manifest Transmission Fee (MTF): $25 per Bill of Lading Note: - Collect rate = Prepaid rate - DDC, BC, PSS must all be under the freight term (prepaid or collect) - Do not have Delivery Order (D/O) fee or cleaning fee in USA. Once getting Bill
of Lading, freight charges and customs clearance, the container can be released to consignee.

Store door Delivery (SDD) SDD cargo via Los Angeles port and Oakland port to other destinations within US West
Coast is acceptable. Accept SDD to warehouse, not to port or terminal. Consignee must getcargo cleared Customs formalities at his own expense.
SDD rate is just trucking charge, not inclusive of any other charge, and applied tocontainer quantity (van), not to container size (Teu).
Do not accept SDD for the following cases: Temperature controlled cargo or reefer container Dangerous cargo Oversize or out-gauge container.
