A BIG, EAGLE SHOUT OUT goes to...

Morgan Smith, Karlie Rieniets, and Hailey Roliard, all 5th graders at ESE, and Morgan Marinelli 5th grader at ASE, who ran the Bill's Crew Remission Run on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in honor of Morgan who is a cancer survivor, and in memory of Austin Rieniets (ESE) and Enya Angeles (ASE), who both passed from pediatric cancer. All proceeds from the run benefit the American Cancer So-ciety for cancer research. We are so proud of these girls for donating to such a wonderful cause.

Library News…

The Magazine Fundraiser ended last Friday, and it was a great success! Thank you to everyone who participated. The students really loved collecting the frogs!

The Children's Book Festival was this past Saturday, January 28th, and was so much fun. Over 1,500 parents and students attended! Morgan Grooms, in Mrs. Havnen's 3rd Grade Class, was chosen to ask a question during the Author Panel Discussion, and she did a super job, very brave! Below are some pictures from the event of the Mascots, the Bookfair, and the Raffle. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the festival.
