I got to hold two
babies today, two
bundles of energy named
Levi and Landon, the
twin sons of Skye and
Wade Kimbrel. We had
the high privilege to be
present at their baptisms
this past Sunday, July
21st. By the time you
read this, their big day
will be a memory, but it
doesnt stand in
isolation. Do you
remember that littlestretch of scripture Paul
wrote to Timothy? Here
it is:
I am reminded of yourI am reminded of yourI am reminded of yourI am reminded of your

Wow. A faith thattransmits with power
from generation to
generationour faith.
Just think about this for
a minute: Cindy to
Skye, to Levi and
Landon. And I havent
even taken it upstream
from Cindy! It runs
deep, true and strong in
families and faith
communities. It was
true in Paul and
Timothys time, it is true
nowa spirit of power
and of love and of
self-discipline.
Why, its enough to
rekindle the gift of God
that is inyou! Will you
let it?
Grace and peace,Pastor Paul

For Attractive lips,speak words ofkindness.
For lovely eyes, seekout the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with
the hungry.For beautiful hair, let
a child run their fingersthrough it once a day.
For poise, walk withthe knowledge that younever walk alone.
People, more thanthings, have to be re-stored, renewed, re-vived, reclaimed, andredeemed. Remember
if you ever need a helping hand, you will findone at the end of eachof your arms.
As you grow older, yowill discover that youhave two hands, one fohelping yourself and thother for helping others
