(A) Gene1'11111nfonnation
The holistic development of the child involves both the scholastic and the co-scholastic areas of pupil's growth. Thus, we try to inculcate the
habits of regular study, discipline, sense of responsibility, cooperation, community service and civic consciousness in our children. Inorder to meet our target of preparing young Rukminians to face the Mure challenges with confidence, the school believes in preparing and evaluating the students qualitatively inscholastic and co-scholastic areas.
(B) Evaluation
I. Academic Session has been divided intotwo tenns. FirstTerm and Second Term. Nomenclature of the examination for boththe terms will be
Mid Tenn Examination and Common Annual School Examination (CASE).
II. Syllabus is separate for both the terms. The question papers for the Mid Tenn Examination would be set out of the syllabus supposed to be
covered upto the FirstTerm and nochapter/lesson of the FirstTenn will be added in the syllabus of Common Annual School Examination
(CASE).

Grading:The grading would be done according to the following. Three point scale for indicating the achievements in different aspects stated in the above table except Health.

• Incase there happens to bea holiday ona particular test date,the test would beheld on the next working day.Each student should have 75% of attendance in the session to be eligible to appear in Unit test, Mid Term Exam and Common Annual School Examination (CASE).
• Itis mandatory for each student toappear inallthe UnitTests, MidTerm and Common Annual School Examination (CASE).• Ifa student fails to attend any ofthe UnitTests, Absent will be marked and the student will be awarded zero inthe partiwlar test.• For students on the Medical Leave and Late Admission, the students will be given weight:age inthe UnitTest at the end of the session
on the basisof all the exams inwhich the student has appeared for the partiwlar subject.• Incase a student isAbsent inMidTerm Exam and CommonAnnual School Examination for any reason,one chance of retest is permissible.• The answer sheet of UnitTest/ Mid Term after having been checked by the teacher and also checked by the concerned student will be
sent to the parents for their information and acknowledgement. No changes in marks will be made once the answer sheet is checked by the concerned students inthe class itself.
