ro ems, s raw urn ng process s usefor energy production
Straw contains chlorines (Cl 0,17...0,6%),that can cause forming of dioxines (attem eratures 600...700C .
Straw contain nitrogen (N 0,5....1,2%), that
temperatures above 750C.
, ... , ,that can cause melting of ashes (at
temperatures below 800C).

ro ems, s raw urn ng process s usefor energy production
Straw burning process require morerunning costs, due to need for morefrequent cleaning of burners
Ashes, that is produced by straw burning, can contain heavy metals, for example,
use ashes as fertilizer in soil. There no ready available technologies for
soil, due to specific physical properties ofstraw asches.

ecomen a ons, s raw urn ng process sused for energy production
Burning process should be provided withintemperatures 700-750 C.
Biomass retention time should be minimiozed attemperatures 600-700C, to avoid forming ofexcess dioxines, therefore small biomassparticles, e.g. pellets, is preferred to supply in
.
The combined usage of straw with otherbiomass, e.g. Wood, is preferable, due to
Most environmental technology is usage of
straw, after rtreatmen, for bio asproduction together with nitrogen-richbiomass.

Recomendations regarding green biomassusage for energetic
Grasses from abandoned lands should be used
widely for energy production.
Energy crops with less need for mineralfertilizers should be preferred for bioenergy
pro uct on. Cropping systems having less number of tillage
operations should be preferred for energyproduction
