With this presentation You will learn

What is needed to establish the communication between the physical

IED and PCM600. How to set IP addresses for the IED objects in PCM600 and also for the

    engineering PC itself running PCM600

    Impact of sub networks

How to manage projects with PCM600

    Creation of projects

    Deletion of projects

    Import/export functionality

Basic HW configuration done with the HW tool

What to learn with this chapter

Technical Key(not applicable for 670 series)

Is used for security reasons, moredifficult to communicate with the wrongIED since the technical key at IEDobject in PCM600 and in physical IEDmust match.

Unique identifier for each object in thePlant Structure

    Is set automatically by PCM600

Can be modified by the user

    To synchronize PCM600 and IED

technical key, use the Set TechnicalKey Tool
