(1) CO2 emission reduction:
20,000 tCO2 x 5 projects = 100,000 tCO2/year
(2) MRV as CO2 emission reduction measuring tool:
MRV is useful for RAD-GRK in Sulawesi

Data on Emission Factor
Emission factors publicized by MoFor is applied to our MRV. In addition, by conducting local sampling survey or
literature survey, emission factors can be adjusted properly.

Based on the historical trends of carbon stock changes, RELs canbe established. Model Project may reduce 30,000 t-CO2/year.
With success rate of 70%, approx 20,000 t-CO2/year is expected.

By keeping forest with Bupati in 5 districts, 100,000 t CO2/year ofcarbon credits will be expected in Gorontalo and North Sulawesi.

Matsushita Gobel Foundation has already provide a set of
Solar Panels for a village (DTM) of immigrated people from
deforestation area.

Solar Power for Local Community
In Boalemo district, there are Medical Clinics without electric
power. Pregnant women are difficult condition. ( Jica Volunteer)
( Local Clinic without elec. ) ( Infusion with candle light)
Japanese aid for Solar Power system is seriously expected.
Model Project plans to support the community livelihood.16
