    Meeting with City officials to review 65% design on Nov 18th was productive;We believe we have adequately addressed the Citys concerns with the 95%

    design recently issued by the CorpsPRD for the project is being routed for review and approval; PRD reflects a 14

    foot high fence and the fence being painted

    Painting fence will cost an additional and add 4 months to the

    Meeting with Commissioner Ruth on Jan 6th went very well

    Ruth agreed no additional modeling is required and to informally discuss the

    fence segments with the new Mexican IBWC Commissioner to determine if hewill support

    If it appears Mexico will continue to oppose fencing, CBP/DHS and IBWC/DOSto discuss potential unilateral decision to proceed with construction

    Earliest construction could occur is 3rd

    quarter FY11 due to real estateacquisition requirements

    Fence construction on segments O-13 thru O-16 and O-18 is complete

    Segment O-11: ~850 feet of fence remain adjacent to the Texas Parks and Wildlife

    Department tract pending relocation of the Santa Maria Irrigation District #4 irrigation main,

    which is underway

    Segment O-12: Drainage canal crossing (via a prefabricated bridge) remains; constructioncompletion expected in April 2010

    Segment O-17: ~15 feet of fence remain to be installed between transition between in-

    ground and jersey wall foundation systems

    Comprehensive Tactical Infrastructure Maintenance and

    Repair (CTIMR)

    The TI Program has finalized the development of a Comprehensive Tactical InfrastructureMaintenance and Repair (CTIMR) contract for long-term maintenance and repair of TI assets alongthe Southwest Border

    Four contracts are planned:

    Significant progress was made over the last several weeks. The RFPs are completed and approved

    for release. The first site visits were conducted in Yuma, Tucson, El Paso and Marfa. Next site visit isscheduled for February in El Centro and San Diego.

    Road Dragging in San Bernardino National Wildlife RefugePMO has been assisting Tucson Sector regarding USFWS concerns that dust from road

    dragging is impacting fish in Black Draw

    - FWS has no scientific data supporting their concernsUSFWS recently sent letter to Sector requesting formal Section 7 consultationPMO drafting response to FWS and options moving forward
