Laundry container

The Laundry container is a freestanding laundry facility for 250 people.

Our specially design system for setting up the washing machines allows them to stand 15 cm from the rear wall (normal distance 70 cm), with just 8 cm between the machines. This allows for optimal space utilixzation while minimizing the volume for transport.

The machines are mounted on a extendable rail system that makes it possible to pull out a machine in less than 5 minutes for service work, or so that the shipping guard can be removed.

Two exhaust fans are mounted to extract humid air from the container. Both fans are identical in terms of capacity. The fan starts when the light switch is activated and will continue as long as the lights are on.

The container has two air conditioning units. The units have both cooling and heating functions to provide a stable indoor temperature. The system is closed, so that no air is inducted from outside the container.

If the temperature outside the container drops below what the air conditioning system can compensate, extra heating is required. An electric ribbed radiator has been mounted in the container.

Our containers are equipped with aproprietary levelling system that enables optimal levelling in the field.

Set-up time for the laundry container is approx. 2 hours for 2 people.

Washing machines with high-end centrifuges and elec-tronic controlled water supply. The machine has a suspen-sion of the drum ensuring that it is both noise and vibra-tion weak.

Water Water pipes are conceled with a !’ pipe in piping, protected by self-regulating heating cable. Pipe connections are terminated at each apparatus with a ball valve. The piping is fitted with a drainage point for draining prior to transport or storage.

Electrical System The standard current is 3x400V/50Hz, but other kinds of current can be supplied on request.The container’s electrical system complies with STANAG 4133, 4135.All apparatuses are CE-approved.Internally concealed system in corrugated pipes to the appliances in the wall to the electric socket at end points.External cable: H07RN-F (replaces NMHVO) is used. This cable in an EPR insulated cable with a max operating temperature of 90°C. The cable is oil-proof and for indoor and outdoor use.All cables that are used externally have a reduction factor of 0.79 due to the high ambient temperatures (STANAG A1)
