Happy Friday 3.E.O. family! We had a wonderful week filled with lots of fun! Thank you so much to all of our volunteers for making our party so much fun! I sincerely appreciate all you do for us! I wanted to give you an update on baby Olson…we are scheduled to welcome our baby on January 12th. I plan on being at school through Friday, January 10th. Of course, things can change but that is our plan! Mrs. Leming is ready to take over for me during my absence. She is a wonderful teacher with a loving heart and I know the kiddos will be in great hands! Please know, I will check my emails and will do my best to help answer any questions you may have during my absence. I cannot thank you enough for all your well wishes on our
Reminders Winter break December

due on January 30th. The genre is autobiography or biography.

Our Silly 3.E.O. Family!
Weekly Recap!Math-We wrapped up chapter 4 and took our test on Thursday. We will continue our multiplication and division skills after break. We will be building on the basic multiplication facts so it continues to be important for your child to practice his/her facts! Reading- We worked on cause and effect this week in several different activities. We will work on determining importance of information, targeting key information, and recording important ideas in non-fiction articles. Writing-We will continue revising our non-fiction pieces focusing on word choice and
specific vocabulary. They will also be finding their text features (pictures, maps, and diagrams) during their tech time in the IMC.Spelling- We took our spelling tests today and new words will come home after break. Science-We wrapped up ecosystems this week and will move on to learning about how plants and animals live together. Social Studies- We wrapped up map skill and landforms this week. We will learn about citizens and government after the New Year.
