ScreenrScreenr is a video website that allows users to record the users

computer screen video and audio by clicking the record button. The user can share uploads on facebook and twitter.

About Screenr

Screenr is a video recording app that allows you to record video and audio on your computer screen.

In order to create an account you already have to have an existing facebook, twitter, gmail, or yahoo

You don’t have to download Screenr, only sign in, and hit the record button

You can share your screencasts from Screenr to Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook

Screencasts are public; therefore, anyone can see them

Recording Video and Audio on Screenr

To record a video on Screenr, pull up a a video or audio recording

Next, sign into your Screenr account

Finally, pull up what you want to record on your home screen and hit the red record button on Screenr and begin recording and then upload your video

and music. QuickTime can deliver content on Mac OS and Windows computers. Many applications use QuickTime to

view, create, import, and export media.

Recording Video and Audio

To make a new movie on QuickTime, go to file and then New Movie Recording.

Press the circular record button once to start or stop your recording, and the triangle button to display further options.

To record Audio, go to file, then New Audio Recording

Clicking the triangle button displays further options for Audio recording. Changing the quality from High to Maximum produces a high-quality movie file.

The sound meter (at the bottom of the controls) makes it easy to control your volume, and is helpful for making sure you're an appropriate distance from the microphone.

Recording Your Screen

You can use QuickTime Player to make a video recording of your screen. This is useful for showing others how to preform task.

To record your screen, choose File, then New Screen Recording. Click the round record button to record. You can record all of the screen or portion of it.

If you want to record the entire screen, click anywhere on the screen to start recording.

To record just a smaller portion of the of the screen, drag your pointer to select the region of the screen you want to record, then click the Start Recording button within the region.

To stop recording, click the stop button in the menu bar, or press the Command-Control-Escape key combination (all at once) on the keyboard.

Clicking the triangle in this window gives you additional options, such as letting you choose whether to use the built-in microphone on your Mac, or another connected microphone, or no microphone at all. This menu also lets you select whether or not your mouse clicks are shown during the recording (the pointer is highlighted when you click). You can also choose where to save your screen recording when finished.

Trimming

Open the file in QuickTime Player.

Choose Edit > Trim.

Then, drag the yellow trimming bar handles to the left and right as desired.

When you are satisfied with your selection area, click Trim.

Split and Rearrange clips

Drag the playhead to the location where you want to split the clip in half.

Choose Edit > Split Clip.

If you want to rearrange the order of the clips in your media, drag them in the timeline.

When you are finished, click Done.

Combine, Paste, and Rotate

Choose View > Show Clips and select the clip you want.

From the Edit menu, choose Cut or Copy.

Choose Edit > Paste to place a copy of the clip into the movie. Drag the clip to the area of the timeline where you want it to play.

Open the in QuickTime player

From the Edit menu choose whichever way you want to rotate the clip.

Sharing and Exporting

Using the File menu, click export and in order to export only the audio, check Audio Only from the Format Pop-up box

To share it through social media or other applications, click the Share button in the playback controls
