ANNOUNCEMENTS, CONT’D

Thanks FBCThanks to all who, helped make over 100 jump ropes for the Mission Trip. Thanks to all who, gave to the “Never 2 Old” missions project. A little over 210 items were given. Thanks to the volunteers, who help with the Children’s Mission Day. The boys and girls who came had a great time. Thanks to the faithful, who are always willing to help with the “Power Lunch”, what a blessing. Thanks ahead of time for the ladies who have volunteer to make desserts for “Annie’s Diner Lunch” Sunday, March 1, and for the “Pasta for a Purpose” Ed Mosley scholarship fundraiser on March 27, at CCBA. We have some faithful and wonderful people who always participate in mission opportunities that are given – God bless you! ~ WMU Leadership Team

Dear First Baptist Family,Thank you so much for the lovely retirement reception hosted by the Personnel and hspitality Committees. I received so many hugs and kind words from those attending. Others setn special notes to me in their cards. I was blessed by Bro Tim’s comments; the medley of hymns sung by James, and the messages that flashed on the monitors in the Fellowship Hall. The beautifully engraved award, my corsage, the bright floral arrangement and the delicious cake were so appreciated. Thanks to Royce Stevens, Paulette Wilson, Ben Westerfiled and Angela Bracey for facilitating the memorable afternoon. My family and I are greatful for the love you have shown, God has blessed me through you! ~Belinda Finch

On behalf of the History Ministries Committee, I wish to thank Joe Craver for his many hours spent in researching our members who served in the military. Obits, pictures and grave sites are included as were available for each one. He has also compiled a notebook on former pastors of our church which will make such a nice addition to the archives. These books are presently displayed in the narthex for you to browse. ~ With much appreciation, Patsy Clark, Archivist
