Veliko vsega je imel po glavi. Glava polna misli, črepinj grenkega okusa. “Posladkaj si” so mu rekli, a je kot običajno rad preslišal. Najraje je predse stavil zid, da bi lahko glava vanj rila in zarila tako globoko, da bi na drugo stran prebili rogi.  Veliko vsega je imel na grbi, misli krhkega značaja in dobrega namena. “Usedi se z nami” so mu rekli, ampak že je hitel naprej, visoko med oblake, rože vohat. Rad je imel oblake, čeravno so ga pripisovali zemlji. Znal je brisati mejo med obema. Veliko vsega je imel pod seboj, obilo dolgih vrvi prepolnih vozlov življenja. Boril se je vedno rad, kar tako, zaradi boja. Boja in zmage. Ob tem se je počutil živo, predano, samosvoje. Čakanje je raje prepuščal drugim. Konec bo vselej prišel, zato čemu čakati nanj? Zato tudi letošnja tema OPUS-a želi spodbuditi ustvarjalnost skozi obujanje kulturne dediščine.

Kulturna dediščina je podedovana dobrina, ki jo opredeljujemo kot odsev in izraz vrednot, identitet, etnične pripadnosti, verskih in drugih prepričanj, znanj in tradicij. Mladi plesni ustvarjalci, poglobite se lahko v raziskovanje svoje najožje družinske dediščine z raziskovanjem podstrešij in kleti svojih dedkov in babic, poiščite stare slike in predmete, razglednice ali pisma ter pripravite svoje plesne miniature. Izberete si lahko znamenitost v svojem kraju ali v širši okolici in raziščite njeno zgodovino. Obravnavate lahko tako snovno kot nesnovno dediščino: naravne in kulturne znamenitosti, šege, navade, običaje, tradicionalne dogodke, …

Pretvorite in preuredite priljubljene spomine in zgodovine ter razvijte lastne analize, interpretacije in mnenja o svoji preteklosti in koreninah.Zgodovinske zgodbe so povedane, zapisane, odplesane, fotogra�rane, odpete, naslikane, izrezane… Postanite posojilojemalci, remixerji, preurejevalci, kritični misleci svoje kulturne zgodovine in jo povežite z današnjim časom. UNESCO declared 2018 as the European Year of Cultural Heritage. This year's theme for OPUS thus wants to encourage creativity through reviving our legacy. Cultural heritage is an inherited good, which we de�ne as a re�ection and expression of values, identities, ethnicity, religious and other convictions, skills and traditions.

Young dancers, you might start by looking into your own family heritage, perhaps by investigating the attics and cellars of your grandparents, seeking old pictures and objects, postcards or letters and then creating your short dance pieces from those. Or you can choose an attraction in your town or its surroundings and research its history. You can focus on tangible or intangible heritage: natural and cultural attractions, habits, traditions, traditional events…

Transform and rearrange the memories and histories you hold dear, develop your own analysis, interpretations, and opinions about your past and your roots.Historical stories are told, written down, danced, photographed, sung, painted, sculptured… Become borrowers, remixers, arrangers, critical thinkers of your cultural heritage and link it to the present. Look back, examine your roots, think from today’s perspective and try to understand/de�ne/create the future – through dance. :: Plesni studio Intakt in JSKD bosta podelila produkcijsko nagrado za realizacijo novega projekta, ki bo imel premiero na OPUS-u 2019:: Generacijska žirija bo izbrala najboljšo plesno miniaturo v vsaki starostni skupini, ki bo prejela bon za izobraževanje na Poletni plesni šoli v Ljubljani v vrednosti EUR 50.:: Matjaz Farič, umetniški direktor mednarodnega festival Front@ sodobnega plesa bo izbral plesne miniature, ki bodo predstavljene na 13. Front@ festivalu, 1.9.2018 v Murski Soboti.

On di�erent occasions she got her education from numerous teachers and choreographers such as Maja Delak, Mala Kline, Fred Lassere, Frey Faust, Snježana Premuš, Matej Kejžar, Gregor Kamnikar, Matjaž Farič, Chritine Kono, Rebecca Murgi and others. She received numerous of awards for her on own choreographies and dance pieces, among them the international Award at the Young Choreographers Competition 2002 in Burghausen, Austria. Since 2007 is an active member of EnKnapGroup led by Iztok Kovač where she collaborated with many artists creating more than 22 full evening stage works and a dance �lm. She has danced at the Kolben D.C and the Tami D.C/Nimrod Freed and has performed in the USA, India, China, Senegal, Japan, Chile and around Europe. In 2005, Idel was invited by the Alexandria Performing Arts Association to create for the BosmaDance Company, Washington D.C. Since then her work has been showcased in Israel and abroad including The Zawirowania Dance Festival - Warsaw, Side by side- Dusseldorf,  Visa 2 dance Festival- Tanzania, Artdanthé Festival Tilburg- Holland, Aura Festival- Lithuania,  Competition Internactional Burgos -Spain, Dance wave -Cyprus, Dock 11 -Berlin, Derida Dance center -Bulgaria and teaches contemporary dance workshops in Israel and International platforms. As a performer he has collaborated with directors and companies such as: Sasha Waltz & Guests, Sosta Palmizi, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Caterina Sagna, Ismael Ivo, Michäel D’Auzon, Amaraoui‐Burner Project, Micha Purucker, Cie Twain, William Forsythe for “Human Writes”. As a creator Davide has directed dance performances and choreographic installations in Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, South Korea, Turkey. Some of his creations have been supported by Summer Studio P.A.R.T.S./ROSAS, Radial System Berlin, Tanec Praha/Divadlo Ponec, Elledanse Bratislava, Scenario Pubblico Catania Compagnia Zappalà Danza. She has danced at the Kolben D.C and the Tami D.C/Nimrod Freed and has performed in the USA, India, China, Senegal, Japan, Chile and around Europe. In 2005, Idel was invited by the Alexandria Performing Arts Association to create for the BosmaDance Company, Washington D.C. Since then her work has been showcased in Israel and abroad including The Zawirowania Dance Festival - Warsaw, Side by side- Dusseldorf,  Visa 2 dance Festival- Tanzania, Artdanthé Festival Tilburg- Holland, Aura Festival- Lithuania,  Competition Internactional Burgos -Spain, Dance wave -Cyprus, Dock 11 -Berlin, Derida Dance center -Bulgaria and teaches contemporary dance workshops in Israel and International platforms. As a performer he has collaborated with directors and companies such as: Sasha Waltz & Guests, Sosta Palmizi, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Caterina Sagna, Ismael Ivo, Michäel D’Auzon, Amaraoui‐Burner Project, Micha Purucker, Cie Twain, William Forsythe for “Human Writes”. As a creator Davide has directed dance performances and choreographic installations in Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, South Korea, Turkey. Some of his creations have been supported by Summer Studio P.A.R.T.S./ROSAS, Radial System Berlin, Tanec Praha/Divadlo Ponec, Elledanse Bratislava, Scenario Pubblico Catania Compagnia Zappalà Danza. The prizes will be awarded for the best short dance piece (group B: EUR 300, group C: EUR 800); the best concept and the best dance performance (group B: EUR 150, group C: EUR 400). Apart from these awards, there will be as well the following:

:: Dance studio Intakt and JSKD will select a young dance artist, who will get a Production award for a new dance project, which will be premiered at the OPUS 2019:: A young jury will select one short dance piece in each age group and award it with a coupon (EUR 50) for International Summer Dance School in Ljubljana.:: MatjaŽ Farič, artistic director of international contemporary dance festival Front@ will select dance pieces, which will be presented at the 13th edition of the Front@ festival on September 1st, 2018 in Murska Sobota.
