What is a heart?

Heart is a muscle. Heart is about the

same size and shape of your own fist.

Heart pumps blood to the lungs and the body through arteries and gets blood back from the body and the lungs through veins.

Heart location?

It sits between your lungs, behind your ribcage for protection

Heart’s function?

Pump Heartbeat. Blood carries oxygen Nutrients. Body needs oxygen and

nutrients to work properly

How can you damage it ?

Smoking

How can you keep it healthy ?

There are 3 main things you need to do – and they’re all easy or fun!

Eat right! Be active! Smoking!
