WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

The following Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules) at a Monthly Stipend of Rs. 25,000/- + House Rent Allowance as admissible as per rules. Interested candidate may appear for a Walk-in-Interview to be held at NSTL, Visakhapatnam; as per the details given below.

01 Graduate Degree in professional course B. E. / B. Tech. (EEE/ECE/E&I Engg.) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score.

ORPost Graduate Degree in professional course M. E. / M. Tech. (EEE/ECE/ E&I Engg.) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

Computer Science & Engg.

03 Graduate Degree in professional course B. E. / B. Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score.

ORPost Graduate Degree in professional course M. E. / M. Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

** (i) Valid NET/GATE score is essential for B. E. / B. Tech. candidates.(ii) The Degree and Post Graduate Degree should be in same Discipline (Branch/Subject)

# (i) The number of Fellowship may decrease or increase.(ii) Future vacancies may be filled with panel candidates. The panel will be valid for one year from the date of interview.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: -

1. Age Limit: 28 years as on date of Walk-in-interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxable for the candidate's belongings to SC, ST and OBC as per Govt of India orders.

2. Those who possess the prescribed qualification acquired from recognized University / Institutions only need to attend the Walk-in-interview. NSTL reserves the right not to select any candidate, if suitable candidates are not available.3. Candidates working in the Public Sector undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should

bring 'No Objection certificate' from the concerned authorities at the time of Interview.

4. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-interview.5. It may please be noted that Award of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right

for absorption in DRDO.6. Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with all their

Original certificates/mark sheets with attested photocopies of the same, 02 recent passport size photograph, a valid ID card in original (Aadhaar/PAN card/Voter ID card/Passport etc.) and crossed Indian Postal Order OR Demand Draft of Rs. 10/- drawn in favour of “The Director, NSTL, Visakhapatnam”. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/OBC are exempted from this payment.

7. A Written Test will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for Interview. Written test will be of 1 hour duration and of 100 marks consisting of 25 Multiple Choice Questions (4 marks each) of the specific subject. There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

8. A panel of selected candidates will be prepared for the available and futurefellowships. The panel will operate for a period of one year from the date of interview.
