platforms. Present, share and collaborate on ideas across any device and any platform

wirelessly. Everything on the iBoardTouch can be shown on your participants device.

Cross-platform collaboration in a teaching environment or meeting. Participants can

work together on your presentations or lessons. Participants can save content on their

own device and add their own notes and memos.

Flexible LearningParticipants can save the presentation on their device choosing to save individual slides

SCREENSHOTS OF DIGIVOTE STUDENT VIEW AND TEACHER VIEW

DigiVote facilitates multiple-choice question and answer activities allowing

students to actively engage with course material during a classroom

session. Prior to the teaching session the teacher sets the topic questions,

inputting data via the main screen before saving the file for later use.

This is a useful time-saver if the same test questions are used on a regular and frequent basis. At the time of

the scheduled activity when the teacher is ready to present the test to the classroom the saved file is quickly

and easily located and the activity commenced with a time limit set for responses.

Student responses are collected automatically and the data organized for the teacher to assess. A colourful

pie chart is created from the data to quickly show the results on the screen, giving a clear visual record for

the whole group to see. On the basis of collated feedback the teacher could offer additional individualized

'on-the-fly' activities to extend learning, moving on to other rich media and teaching content outside of

DigiVote system.

One application for DigiVote classroom response system is that it allows students to offer responses, silently

and privately, if desired, and can therefore engage those students who would not normally speak up.

Teachers can also use the technology to facilitate whole class responses to sensitive, moral and ethical

questions.

A Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon needed an

Portsmouth University required a solution which would enable the students to work on individual or group based tasks from their

Each Teal table was setup for 3 students to work in a group environment with their laptops / tablets and connected to an i55

iBoardTouch wirelessly. The iBoardTouch Screens were all networked and equipped with collaboration software, thereby giving

tutors the option to decide if they wanted the students to carry out individual or group tasked work / presentations which could

also be projected onto the larger iBoardTouch screens during the tasks being performed; all controlled by the lecturer.

We looked at several technologies to help staff communicate

and collaborate effectively and efficiently through a common

seamless platform as we had been using a mix of technologies

cobbled together to create a solution which didn’t work exactly

the way we wanted.

After looking and evaluating over half a dozen

technologies we cam across iBoardTouch and its interactive

VCC offering. After evaluating a loan system we were

nothing short of impressed with the technology and how

easy it was to connect all our international offices and staff

together.

A further bonus was the cost of the iBoardTouch solution

which came tens of thousands of pounds lower than
