PRODUCT DEFINITION

YelorollTM conveyor idler shells are manufactured from a Titanium modified PVC providing enhanced durability and extra strength. This material is a recognised mining product with proven abrasion resistance qualities. The end housings are manufactured from a nylon glass fibre composite incorporating an effective triple labyrinth sealing arrangement.

COMPONENTS

Shell: The modified PVC shell compound includes titanium nitrite/T102 Dioxide. The shell has a wall thickness of between 8mm and 20mm and diameters of 114mm, 130mm and 150mm.Housing: Precision injected moulded from nylon glass fibre filled composite, complete with an anti static copper pin. In addition to the labyrinth seal there is an outer rubber seal to ensure comprehensive bearing protection.Bearings: 25mm and 30mm factory sealed, deep groove ball bearings are used.Shafting: 16mm to 35mm - bright drawn steel shafts. Some Idlers use a unique protective anti corrosive end cap which provides a totally sealed arrangement with no exposed steel.
