Thanks to the four-stage compressor blocks and robust industrial bearings with lifetime expec-tancies of more than 30.000 hours, the VERTICUS- and KAP- range units can be run conti-nuously without restrictions. All coolers, filters, valves and pipes are manufactured in corrosion-free materials. High-performance axial fans and a cleverly devised cooling air supply in the sound-proof silent units ensure an optimum supply of cooling air, a requirement necessary for a relia-ble application even under the most difficult external climatic conditions. The unit's design guaran-tees good accessibility for all routine maintenance work.The VERTICUS range's efficient housing sound insulation permits trouble-free use even in a par-ticularly sound-sensitive environment.

The compressed air

from the compressor block isdelivered to the final separa-tor. The separator effectivelyseparates oil- and water dro-plets.

The condensate

The condensate from the oil-and water droplets is collectedat the bottom of the filterhousing and is removed viathe condensate drain valve.

The pre-purified air

flows from the bottom of thevessel through the molecularsieve, which adsorbs theremaining gaseous water. Thepores of the granules areminute in diameter in order toprovide continuous filtrationand total removal of the water

Particle filter

holds all impurities and par-ticles.

An activated carbon layer

for breathing air applicationsremoves all organic impuritiessuch as oil vapour and hydro-carbons.

Purest air or gas

leave the filter cartridge andare ready for the application.

The pressure maintai-ning valve

keeps the filter housing conti-nuously under pressure toincrease the partial pressure onthe molecular sieve. So thespeed of the flow through thecartridge is reduced, whichincreases the purification effecteven more. Load cycles arereduced, too - a positive effecton the lifetime of the filterhousings and the operatingsafety.

SECURUS FILTER MONITORING

SECURUS is simple tooperate

Mobile units, and those ofthe KAP / VERTICUS-F-Rangehave a control- and moni-toring unit, which providesinformation about the satu-ration status of the cartridge,similar to a traffic light.

SECURUS protectsagainst damage:

All filter cartridges have alimited life, which must bemonitored.The patented SECURUSsystem takes away from youthe important but annoyingresponsibility of monitoringthe cartridge for the neces-sary timely replacement.

With SECURUS it is impossi-ble to overuse the filter,which would damage thefollowing system with oiland water.

This can only be achievedwith a patented sensor tech-nology, which is integratedin the filter cartridge. Theintegrated sensor indicatesthe necessity for cartridgechange prematurely, war-ning in time about theexhaustion of the cartridgecapacity and, finally switchesthe compressor off.

Competitors systems, whichare available in the market,which are fitted after thepurification system, providefalse safety!They only warn the userwhen it is too late: Whenthe cartridge is alreadydamaged and impuritieshave occured.

High pressure tanks ensure air is available at all times.

A perfectly designed storage solution adapted to the compressor guarantees constantavailability of breathing air, even in the case of a larger demand on short notice, inde-pendent of whether the compressor is running.Yet another advantage: The unit only switches on if the pressure in the tank drops below thespecified minimum value. Thanks to the low number of load cycles the durability of theunit's components like the filter housing or final separator, are subject to pressure fluctuati-ons, increase accordingly.

In the course of unit planning and consulting our service team will naturally calculate thecustom-made storage solution for your respective unit size and individual filling requi-rement.
