4.2. Curriculum Development and Teaching Management

1. Chairing a committee in the Student Counseling Center to develop a new course titled

“Life Skills” to be included in the General Foundation Program (January 2013).

2. Developing teaching materials for all course taught (listed in section 4.1.1).

Psychology (learning & instruction).

4. Participating in the development of an entry exam for counselors applying for jobs in the

Student Counseling Center.

5. Writing three unites for Study Skills Course (an elective online course at SQU). These

unites cover critical thinking, listening skills, and note taking skills.

6. Participating in the development of two proposed B.Ed programs in Special Education

and Counseling Psychology.

7. Leading a committee to develop two programs in educational psychology and

measurement & evaluation

8. Writing two chapters in a research methodology book.

9. Participating in development of admission test for MA students in the department of

psychology.

10. Employing technology and Internet in instruction and learning (e.g., emails, online

submission of assignments..etc).

11. Developing a comprehensive research guide for my students that covers all concerns and

issues important to conduct empirical studies in school settings.

12. Facilitating students’ use of electronic databases to keep up with the current publication.

13. Training students to use SPSS as a statistical tool when analyzing data collected for their

course projects.
