Electromobility is a logical market for a power engineering company, and that is why the ČEZ Group has been dealing with electromobility systematically for already 10 years. We operate the largest domestic network for public recharging with more than 120 stations. The fast recharging stations arise also thanks to the support from the funding instrument fi nanced by the European Commission and known as CEF (Connecting Europe Facility), part “Transport”. At the same time we off er, in the fi eld of electromobility, a wide range of associated services and products for individuals, fi rms, municipalities and regions.

INTRODUCTORY WORD

THE FIRST-RUN E-SALON EXHIBITION ATTRACTED BOTH EXPERTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PRESENTED TRENDS AND UNIQUE CLEAN MOBILITY EXHIBITSThe historically fi rst exhibition in the Czech Republic dealing with clean mobility issues, e-SALON, held on 15 to 18 November offered not only the most important fi rst presentations of world brand electromobiles, but it introduced also a large quantity of unique technologies and services in the sector. This fi rst-run event attracted almost 23,000 visitors, who could see, within the framework of the gross exhibition area with a size of 17,450 m2 about one hundred cars and other products from eighty exhibitors.

One of the largest suppliers of energies, Pražská plynárenská, presented its services at the e-SALON Exhibition not only in the fi eld of power engineering, but also in the area of environment-friendly mobility. Vehicles powered by electrical energy and compressed natural gas were presented there to customers. The customers can try these vehicles and many other ones in the car-rental agency of Pražská plynárenská and compare directly their operation costs and comfort of replenishment and recharging. EXHIBITION PREMIERES

Several cars originating from various world brands had their absolute Czech premiere at e-SALON. For example the popular car “Audi e-tron” which the public could see for the fi rst time during its ceremonial presentation at the beginning of September in San Francisco in the U.S.A.. Toyota, another strong brand, was also one of the fi rms that presented a car for the fi rst time in the Czech Republic just at this exhibition. The car manufacturer which presented its fi rst hybrid model “Toyota Prius” already 20 years ago made visitors familiar with its entire hybrid series – such models as Yaris, Auris, C-HR, RAV4 and Prius Plug-in, which were complemented by one of the principal innovations of next year, Toyota Camry. On the other hand, the hydrogen future was presented by the Toyota Mirai model.

Lexus is one of leading brands in the section of premium vehicles in the area of alternative drives. It is just this brand that offers the hybrid technology in all its models and it presented its complete series just at e-SA LON. But the key drawing cards at the stand of this brand were even two national premieres, namely the new upper-middle class executive sedan “Lexus ES” and the urban crossover “Lexus UX”. Also Volkswagen tried to present its best in the sector at this event held in the Czech Republic, introducing namely the utility car model “e-Crafter” equipped with an electric drive and featuring a zero emission level. This innovation which was targeted at companies performing active operations in city centres (e.g. delivery and courier services, craftsmen, shuttle transport operators, taxi services or retailers and energy suppliers) is able to transport up to 1.72 tonnes of the load. Its running distance before recharging (operating range) is 173 km according to the EU methodology and intentional limitation of the top speed to 90 km/h, whereby it can satisfy all requirements for a light utility vehicle suitable for urban environment.

EXHIBITION PREMIERES

e-SALON was the largest event in the sector of clean mobility in the Czech Republic and presented national premieres of elect romobiles of world brands, future of clean cities, alternative drives or the infrastructure. The visitors made themselves familiar with timeless transport means from electromobiles, motorcycles and cycle-cars for teenagers to electric aircraft.

Among the presented exhibits it was possible to see also vehicles of other renowned car manufacturers, for example Jaguar introduced its fi rst electric model “I-PACE” with a horse power of 400 hp, which offers the distance before recharging (operating range) up to 470 km according to the latest WLTP standard. This vehicle is fully equipped with modern technologies, from the wheels to the roof, it has its own voice assistant (Alexa) and moreover it is able to learn to estimate driver’s preferences.

Also many other world-known brands (for example Renault, Nissan, Hyundai or Tesla) presented their news at the fi rst edition of the e-SALON Exhibition. A special experience was provided by unique vehicles of such models as BMW i8 and BMW i3 STARLIGHT Edition, gilded in four layers of 23.75 carat gold, which the visitors could see at the exposition of the stand of the TV PRIMA Autosalon show.

NOT ONLY ELECTROMOBILES

Air transport had its representation at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE as well, thanks to the ΦNIX electric aircraft. This is an electric two-seat sporting plane, whose predecessors are petrol Phoenix and electric aircraft “Electra”. It is possible to connect the airplane to the standard power supply network of 230V, but this method of recharging lasts for a longer time. The aircraft can be equipped also with the special supercharger “Nikola” which is able to recharge, in 20 minutes, up to 85 per cent of the battery capacity and with the use of a connector it is able to recharge electric cars as well. The exhibition presented also a machine capable of fl ying and at the same time of travelling on roads, known as autogyro. Unlike helicopters, autogyros use the principle of autorotation for fl ying. The rotor blades are not driven actively but they start rotating with growing wind with the help of a pusher propeller. An autogyro is able to fl y at a speed up to 180 km/h, but the crew can enjoy the view of the landscape also at very slow fl ights.

Visitors could get familiar also with Aixam vehicles, the European leader of electromobiles in the L6e category, at the exhibition as well. They can be driven by teenagers already from 15 years of age. Of course, e-SALON provided a wide offer of recharging systems for electromobiles too.

e-SALON AND EXPERT CONFERENCES

The e-SALON Clean Mobility Exhibition was ceremonially inaugurated on 15 November at 10:00 a.m. on the premises of the Congress Hall in the Entrance Hall II. It was followed by an all-day programme for experts from the sector. The main topics were for example Electromobility in Prague – plans for development of electromobility in the capital city (car sharing, electromobile fl eet for organisations, development of the recharging infrastructure in Prague), Data and eGovernment (open data and transport) or Public Transport in Cities, Clean Mobility in Smart Cities, Clean Mobility – Modern and Joyful Part of Everyday Life, Recharging Infrastructure – Selection of a Suitable Solution or Smart City Pitch.

For the following day, the organisers prepared special-topic lectures dealing with electromobility and intended for the expert public.

ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC

A rich accompanying programme was prepared for exhibitors in the halls of the exhibition centre as well as in its immediate surroundings. More than twenty vehicles were available for test runs. There was also a track with mini-cars with an electric drive and foot control system or a children’s traffi c playground from the Municipal Authority of the Capital City of Prague.

At the BESIP stand it was possible to try, for the entire term of the exhibition, a traffi c accident simulator with presentation of the overturning of a car during an impact. Electric bikes or a motor bike drive simulator were available too. At the PVA EXPO PRAGUE Exhibition Centre the public could visit even an interactive showroom of the Capital City of Prague which presents the concepts of Smart Prague 2030. Visitors were highly interested also in expositions of TV Prima - co-organiser of the event, represented by its individual television channels. The smallest visitors could imagine being in the position of investigators within the framework of the Prima KRIMI zone, a meeting with nature and animals was offered by the Prima ZOOM area. The signing event of moderators of the Autosalon show, which was one of the partners of the event, took place within the framework of the Saturday’s programme. The nearest issue of this show will present a special programme devoted just to the e-SALON Exhibition.

TEST DRIVES WITH ELECTROMOBILES OR HYBRIDSIn the Hall 2D visitors could get registered for a test drive of the selected model. It was possible to choose from 23 brands - such as Jaguar, Lexus, Nissan, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and vehicles of the e-cars rent company. The test drives which took place every day from 10:30 to 17:00 hours were welcomed with an enormous interest. According to the instructions, drivers were carrying out their test drives either in the covered Hall 2 or on the outdoor route set out.

Volvo oznámilo, že už nebude vy-víjet novou generaci dieselů. Volkswagen se chce stát jed-ničkou v elektromobilitě. Auto-

mobilová budoucnost je tady! A s ní i podzimní premiéra českého veletrhu orientovaného komplexně na čistou mobilitu a infrastrukturu.

Elektromobilita v Česku nabírá sí-ly. Tomuto segmentu trhu vládnou značky Volkswagen, Nissan a BMW. Na trend elektromobility už ale nasko-čili i výrobci motorek. Elektrický skútr letos například představila motocyklo-vá divize BMW Motorrad. Ještě před dvaceti lety nemyslitelná věc.

NĚMCI FANDÍELEKTROMOBILŮM

Mezi lídry elektromobility na území Evropské unie podle registrací vozidel patřily v prvním čtvrtletí tohoto roku Německo, Norsko a Velká Británie. I tak v Evropě stále chybí významný veletrh

orientovaný komplexně na čistou mo-bilitu a infrastrukturu.

První velkou akci s názvem e-salon připravuje na listopad společnost ABF ve spolupráci s televizí Prima a jejím pořadem Autosalon. „V Evropě jsou veletrhy, které jsou zaměřené spíš na koncepty SmartCity. Akce se zú-častní značky, které v segmentu čisté mobility něco znamenají,“ vysvětluje za pořádající společnost ABF generální ředitel Tomáš Kotrč.

E-NOVINKYNA DOSAH

Hlavními lákadly výstavy na plo-še přesahující deset tisíc metrů čtve-rečních budou automobilové novinky s elektrickými a hybridními pohony. „Výstava e -SALON se dívá do budouc-nosti. Stěžejními tématy budou pocho-pitelně elektromobily, hybridy, auto-nomní řízení a technika s tím spojená. Na veletrhu nebudou chybět hlavní

hráči v zelené mobilitě. Například Au-di ukáže nový SUV elektromobil s ná-zvem e-tron, Toyota představí svá hyb-ridní auta, Nissan se pochlubí vozem Leaf nové generace a elektrické novin-ky předvedou i značky Jaguar a Land Rover,“ doplňuje expert výstavy a po-řadu Autosalon Jan Říha.

Prezentovat se budou i výrobci a provozovatelé veřejných nabíjecích stanic pro elektromobily.

ALTERNATIVĚPOMOHOU DOTACE

V Česku se prodej aut na elektřinu v meziročním srovnání prvních čtvrtletí loňského a letošního roku zvýšil o pě-tinu na 107 vozů. Na tisíce se prodané elektromobily dostanou se zavedením vládních podpůrných opatření. Některá z nich už platí pro státní instituce.

Blíží se ale i výraznější podpora al-ternativní dopravy s nízkými nebo nu-lovými emisemi pro soukromé osoby. Ať už jde o speciální registrační znač-ky pro vjezd do center velkých měst, parkování v městských zónách, využi-tí jízdních pruhů pro MHD i osvoboze-ní od správního a dálničního poplatku. Součástí státního záměru má být také podpora sítě dobíjecích stanic.

I o tom bude řeč v odborné čás-ti na podzimním e-SALON. „Akce bu-de oborově členěna do kategorií, ve kterých se představí nejen samot-né automobily, ale i vozidla s dalšími

alternativními pohony. Prezentována bude i potřebná infrastruktura, také doplňky, služby, aplikace, legislativa i možnosti fi nancování a dotací,“ říká Tomáš Kotrč.

Elektromobilita je pro energetiku lo-gickým trhem, Skupina ČEZ se jí proto systematicky věnuje již 10 let. Provo-zujeme největší síť veřejného dobíjení v ČR s více než 120 stanicemi. Rychlo-dobíjecí stanice vznikají i díky podpoře z evropského programu CEF (Connecti-ng Europe Facility). Současně nabízí-me širokou paletu souvisejících služeb a produktů pro jednotlivce, fi rmy, mu-nicipality a kraje. Generálním partne-rem veletrhu e-SALON 2018 je Skupi-na ČEZ.

Veletrh, který se na výstavišti PVA EXPO PRAHA v Letňanech bude konat ve dnech 15.–18. listopadu 2018, přinese i zajímavý doprovod-ný program. Určený bude laické i od-borné veřejnosti. „Součástí veletr-hu bude vyhlášení odborné ankety EcoCar roku. Nabídneme i odbor-né semináře s Asociací čisté mobi-lity a konferenci i-City zaměřenou na inteligentní ekologickou dopravu ve městech,“ uzavírá generální ředi-tel společnosti ABF Tomáš Kotrč.
