nors Advisory meet-ing went well wehad some good dis-cussion and a fewgreat ideas from theattending club repre-sentatives. We willbe looking at provid-ing the District Gov-ernor with input on theClub Quality Initiative. Atthe next Advisory meet-ing, we will have a mean-ingful discussion on Cen-tennial Project Ideas. Ihope that as a Zone, wewill have made a decisionon how we are to proceed
and have some reportsfrom individual clubs onClub Centennial Legacyprojects
I’m not sure I really estab-lished a theme for thisyear. I kind of like lastyear's which was Team-

See you in Spokane!
Esquimalt Splash Park
Lions Water Fountain
In addition to the Esquimalt Lions Club’s Centen-nial Challenge initiative to provide a $50,000
contribution towards the establishment of a commu-nity splash park in the municipality of Esquimalt, they have now donated a Lion Water Fountain foruse by the children and parents using the park. Thefountain is available through LCI at a cost of ap-proximately $8,000 after shipping.
They are now looking at a second possible chil-dren’s site currently under development in the VicWest area for an additional fountain.
It’s a great way to get our Lions “face” out there.
