ramp down, 6 seconds off. Mode lasts for two minutes.

Low: Channel 2 frequency sweeps up from 4001 Hz to 4010 Hz and back down from

4010 Hz to 4001 Hz over a 15 second span. Channel 1 frequency is constant at 4000 Hz.

Default treatment time is 40 minutes.

TENS Programs

Sweep: The frequency is decreased linearly from 125 Hz to 11 Hz over a 4 second span.

During this time, the pulse width is increased linearly from 60 µs to 150 µs. Then the

frequency is decreased from 10 Hz to 1 Hz over a two second span. The pulse width is

constant at 150 µs. Then the frequency is increased linearly from 1 Hz to 10 Hz over a

two second span. The pulse width is constant at 150 µs. Then the frequency is increased

linearly from 11 Hz to 125 Hz over a four second span. During this time, the pulse width

is decreased linearly from 150 µs to 60 µs. Default treatment time is 60 minutes.

Low Modulation: The frequency varies between 66.7 – 100 Hz and 100 – 66.7 Hz over a

12 second span. During this time, the pulse width varies between 75 - 150 µs and 150 -

75 µs. Default treatment time is 60 minutes.

High Modulation: The frequency varies between 66.7 – 100 Hz and 100 – 66.7 Hz over a

2 second span. During this time, the pulse width varies between 75 - 150 µs and 150 - 75

µs. Default treatment time is 60 minutes.

down, 30 seconds off, both channels simultaneously. Default treatment time is 20

minutes.

20:10: 35 Hz, 300 µs pulse width, 3 seconds ramp up, 10 seconds on, 1 second ramp

down, 20 seconds off, both channels simultaneously. Default treatment time is 20

minutes.

10:10: 35 Hz, 300 µs pulse width, 3 seconds ramp up, 10 seconds on, 1 second ramp

down, 10 seconds off, both channels simultaneously. Default treatment time is 20

minutes.

General Operational Features

Backlight turns on for 10 seconds when any key is pressed. Any key press during the

time that the back light is on will retrigger the backlight timer for another 10 seconds.

AC adapter is functional in all modes. AC adapter icon appears when connected.

Battery type: 9V Rechargeable batteries not recommended.

Low Battery alarm: Low battery icon turns on when battery voltage is 5.25 V or below.

Auto Key Lock: Channel 1 and 2 up buttons are disabled after 20 seconds of inactivity.

Check Electrode Alarm: “Check Connections” text and either “Ch 1” or “Ch 2” text turn

on to indicate which channel is having the problem.

IFC button: When pushed the first time, the arrow next to the default IFC program

“Low-High” turns on. Each time the button is pushed the arrow next to the next program

is turned on and the previous arrow is turned off. The last IFC waveform program

selection is saved.

TENS button: When pushed the first time, the arrow next to the default TENS program

“Sweep” turns on. Each time the button is pushed the arrow next to the next program is

turned on and the previous arrow is turned off. The last TENS waveform program

selection is saved.

NMES button: When pushed the first time, the arrow next to the default NMES program

“30:10” turns on. Each time the button is pushed the arrow next to the next program is

turned on and the previous arrow is turned off. The last NMES waveform program

selection is saved.

Timer button: If the timer button is pressed for less than three seconds, the value in the

lower, right, two digit, numerical treatment time field will increment to the next higher

treatment time value. For example, if the timer currently displays 5 minutes of treatment

time left, but the current treatment time setting is 40 minutes, pressing the timer button

will cause the display to show 50 minutes. Possible treatment time settings are 10, 20,

30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and continuous. When continuous is selected, the two digit

numerical field will turn off and “No Timer” will be displayed. If the timer button is not

pressed again, the number displayed in the two digit numerical field will become the new

remaining treatment time and the program will begin counting down the treatment time

from there. The last treatment time setting is saved.

Re Set Compliance Meter:

If the timer button is pressed for at least three seconds, the unit will enter compliance

meter mode. The upper, left, five digit, numerical field will be used to display total

treatments. The “Total TXs” text field will turn on and the “Ch 1” and “mA” fields will

turn off. Total treatments in the range of 0 – 99999 will then be displayed in the upper,

left, five digit field. The upper, right, five digit, numerical field will be used to display

total treatment time in minutes. The “Total Min” text field will turn on and the “Ch 2”

and “mA” fields will turn off. Total treatment time in the range of 0 – 99999 minutes

will be displayed in the upper, right, five digit field. Pressing any key will cause the

system to exit this mode to and return to normal, stimulation mode. The “Total TXs” text

field will turn off and the Channel 1 “Ch 1” and “mA” fields will turn on. The “Total

Min” text field will turn off and the Channel 2 “Ch 2” and “mA” fields will turn on.

Unlock button: Push to enable the Channel 1 and Channel 2 „+‟ buttons in order to

increase stimulation.
