Most thermal cameras on the market are designed for indus-trial use. Temperature detection can allow up to +/- 2 degrees of deviation, which in practice is not accurate enough for body temperature detection during a pandemic. Facial recognition is one of the most popular and secure biometric veri�cation technologies. The recognition algorithm uses the re�ection of the near infrared (NIR) or visible light (VIS) spectrum to automatically detect and identify users, employees or visitors in a crowd. The system compares captured faces with faces stored in an extensive database and is capable of identi�cation in milliseconds. It can be used both during the day and at night, since the camera has a high sensitivity to light.
