Thursday  next  is  St.Patrick’s  Day.  There  will  be  a  Service  of  Holy  Communion  at  10.30am  and  Compline  at  8.00pm  in  the  Chapel  of  Memory.

St.Patrick’s Day

The  ‘Parish  AGM’  will  be  held  after  the  main  service  on  Sunday.  Attendance  welcome  along  with  your  views  and  ideas.

Easter Vestry on Sunday 13th March

On  Tuesday  we  will  begin  a  day  of  school  and  parish  commemoration  with  a  service  of  Prayer    in  Church  at  9.00am.  Following  this  service  the  children  of  Zion  Parish  School  will  raise  the  National  Flag  and  mark  this  special  day  with  poetry,  music,  dance  and  storytelling.    

Congratulations to the Class of 2016 On  Sunday,  21st  February  seven  young  people  from  Zion  Parish  and  the  High  School  were  Confirmed  by  The  Most  Reverand  Michael  Jackson,  Archbishop    of  Dublin  and  Glendalough  in  Rathfranham  Parish  Church.

Baptisms in March and April On  Easter  Day,  27th  March  we  welcome  Elizabeth  Beatrix  Davenport  Farrell,  younger  daughter  of  

the  Revd.Stephen  and  Laura  Farrell,  in  Holy  Baptism.  

 On  April  3rd  we  look  forward  to  welcoming  three  

babies  into  the  Zion  Church  community;    Aisling  Sinéad,  younger  daughter  of  Gerry  and  Áine  Dunne;  Samuel    Gareth,  son  of  Lyn  and  Robert  Kenealy  and  Great-‐grandson  of  Elsie  

Rogan  and  Henry  Bruce,  son  of  Sarah-‐Jane  and  George  Misstear.    George  was  babtised  at  Zion  Church  as  was  his  father  Ivan.  We  are  delighted  to  see  a  long  family  connection  with  the  parish  

continue.
