questions posted by Chinese people ✦ Web scraping for data as a function of time
Goals:✦ Understand China through Chinese people’s needs✦ Predict social and economic trends in China✦ Offer insights and suggestions to travellers and entrepreneurs
✦ Cleaning large datasets✦ Encoding/decoding Chinese text ✦ Need to search for correlations of different symbols (isolated characters meaningless)
