area in the %enter o* Lake +-lia2 9* -ou ha4en#t @een there @e*ore Link %an toss rupees

into the pond and a*ter he has tossed 88 rupees in he will @e a@le to upgrade either his

@om@s or arrows2 1in%e we will @e getting tons o* rupees within this se%tion now is a good

to spend most o* -our rupees on the upgrades2

We now ha4e to return to the Dark World2 Fump into the water o* Lake +-lia and swim to

the northwest %orner2 Clim@ onto land and then head up a s%reen2 Continue le*t a s%reen

and then down a s%reen to get @a%k to the swamp area2 5rom here go le*t a s%reen and

-ou#ll see a *ew wooden stakes2 Pound one o* them and then li*t the ro%k to the le*t to *ind

a portal to the Dark World2 Go ahead and step in it2

the wall there is a %ra%k in the wall where Link %an pla%e a @om@2 Do so and head inside

the %a4e2 1peak with person inside and he#ll gi4e -ou '88 rupees 5urthermore -ou %an

pla%e a @om@ against the northern wall to re4eal a room with *our additional treasure

%hests2 Ea%h has a red rupee gi4ing a total o* 68 rupees2

Ba%k outside head up a s%reen and le*t a s%reen2 Continue down and le*t a s%reen and

de*eat the enemies that -ou en%ounter2 Walk to the southwest %orner o* this area and

-ou#ll *ind a large ro%k2 1tand to the southwest o* the ro%k and use the Magi% Mirror to

warp to the Light World2 You will @e on a higher ledge and %an now enter the near@- %a4e

so do so2 Walk inside and a%?uire the Pie%e o* +eart2

Walk @a%k outside and step into the warp portal -ou %reated to get @a%k to the Dark

World2 Walk northward in this area and -ou#ll a @un%h o* small purple @ushes2 1lash at

these @ushes and then head up into this area2 Walk northward and -ou#ll *ind a man sitting

on top o* a tree stump2 Walk up and talk to him and he#ll gi4e -ou the 1ho4el2

the Light World2

there head north and enter the Lost Woods2 9mmediatel- turn to the right and then e;it

the Lost Woods to the south2 Walk down and pound the stake with Magi% +ammer2 Li*t up

the ro%k to re4eal a portal and step into it to enter the Dark World2

Ba%k in the Dark World up ust ust a @it and then le*t slashing the @ushes along the wa-2

Continue southward to enter the Iillage o* 3ut%asts the Dark World e?ui4alent o*

akariko Iillage2 )here is plent- to do here @ut our *irst stop is at the )reasure Chest

Game whi%h is within the house at the northwest %orner o* town2 1peak to the shop

owner and he#ll allow Link to open two treasure %hests *or '8 rupees2 Link %an win arrows

s%reen dash into the @lo%k to make it disappear2 Walk to the right and %lim@ the steps to

get on the higher ledge2 Pull out the magi% mirror while on the higher ledge to warp to the

Light World2 Enter the %a4e here and @om@ the northern wall2 Walk on through and %olle%t

the pie%e o* heart E;it the %a4e and return to the Dark World2

Fust to the right o* the steps slash at the @ush and enter this small en%losed area2 1tand

at the @ottom!right %orner and use the Magi% Mirror to return to the Light World2 5a%e the

gra4estone in this area and dash into it using the Pegasus @oots2 )he gra4e will open so

head inside2 3pen the treasure %hest *ound inside to get the Magi% Cape When using the

Magi% Cape Link will @e%ome in4isi@le and won#t take damage @ut it will drain the Magi%

Meter2 Walk @a%k outside and return to the Dark World2

Walk le*t two s%reens and then head up two s%reens2 3n%e again pull out the Magi% Mirror

and head @a%k to the Light World2 )here is a large tree here that that Lum@era%ks were

%utting down earlier and it appears dis%olored2 se the Pegasus Boots to dash into it

whi%h will make all its lea4es *all down2 Drop down into the trunk o* the tree2 Gra@ some

*airies i* -ou#d like @ut then head right a s%reen and %olle%t the Pie%e o* +eart E;it the

%a4e and return to the Dark World2

1in%e we ust got plent- o* rupees at the Iillage o* 3ut%asts -ou should @e a@le to get

this ne;t heart pie%e2 $eturn to the Light World and use the 5lute to warp on o4er to

Lo%ation J( at Link#s house2 5rom there head down a s%reen and le*t a s%reen2 Pound the

stake and li*t the ro%k to enter the Dark World2 Walk to the west part o* the s%reen andthen li*t the large ro%k2 Continue to walk le*t a s%reen and then up a s%reen at the

northwest part o* this area2 Walk le*t two s%reens and -ou#ll rea%h the digging game2

Dark World walk dire%tl- southward and ump o** the ledge2 Enter the %a4e here2 se the

hammer to sma%k the moles in this %a4e2 )he %a4e is *illed with spikes that will damage

Link2 se the Magi% Cape we ust got and ?ui%kl- run through the linear pathwa-2 At the

4er- end li*t the large ro%k and step o** the spikes2 3pen the treasure %hest here to get

the Cane o* B-rna2 )his item surrounds Link in a ring o* light that %an also @e used toatta%k enemies2 $ather than return through the %a4e it#s sa*er to ust 1a4e and Kuit at

this point starting at one o* the set lo%ations in the Dark World2

$eturn to the Light World and use the 5lute to warp on o4er to lo%ation J(2 5rom there

head down a s%reen and le*t a s%reen2 3n%e again pound the stake and li*t the ro%k to

%reate a portal to enter the Dark World2 Walk down a s%reen and le*t a s%reen as i* -ou

were going to the Desert area in the Light World2 )he entran%e to the Desert is now

@lo%ked o** and there are a num@er o* pink stakes on the ground2 1tand to the north o*

the last stake and use the Magi% Mirror2 You should appear on the higher ledge in the Light

World2 5rom there walk to the le*t and use the Book o* Mudora on the ta@let2 Link will

a%?uire the Bom@os Medallion )his is the most power*ul o* the medallions @ut is also the

onl- one that isn#t re?uired2 $eturn through the portal to get @a%k to the Dark World2

Push the middle @lo%k up and then either o* the other @lo%ks to the side and then head up

a s%reen2 Pull the le4er on the right side %ausing the *loodgate to open allowing water to

*low through2 E;it the @uilding and i* -ou ha4en#t gotten it earlier a pie%e o* heart will @e

waiting *or -ou ust to the le*t o* the @uilding2 3therwise step in the warp portal and return

to the Dark World2

With the *loodgate now open this somehow e**e%ts the water *low in the Dark World so

-ou %an now enter the 1wamp Pala%e2 &(

)here is a %ra%ked wall on the le*t side that Link %an @last open with a Bom@2 )his will lead

to a )reasure Chest %ontaining the Dungeon Map2 Ba%k in the large room there are *our

skull pots in the %enter2 )he @ottom o* the *our pots %ontains a small ke-2 Gra@ it and head

through the lo%ked door to the west2

)here are a 4ariet- o* enemies in this room @ut -ou %an simpl- walk right passed them2

Walk down the steps and head up a s%reen2 Li*t the pot *ound here to get a small ke-2

Walk @a%k to the pre4ious room and use the small ke- on the lo%ked door2 se the Magi%

+ammer to smash the moles in this room and then push the large le4er to the le*t2 )his

will %ause water to *low2

$eturn to the pre4ious room and ump into the water2 1wim to the west side o* the room

and then head le*t to enter the main %entral %ham@er o* the dungeon2

)his large %entral %ham@er has a lot o* doors that Link %an enter2 )he pathwa- that leads

south is %ompletel- optional and it will lead Link to a%?uire the Compass2 Clim@ the steps

and then %lim@ down the steps2 Walk up a s%reen and li*t the pot to *ind another small ke-2

Clim@ the steps at the northwest %orner o* the room and use the small ke- to head

through the lo%ked door2 1lash at the %r-stal swit%h to lower the @lue @lo%ks and then push

the le4er %ausing water to *low through the room2 Be*ore -ou e;it this room make sure

the %r-stal swit%h is red and the @lue @lo%ks are raised2 E;it through the door on the right

to get @a%k to the %entral %ham@er2

3n%e again %lim@ the steps and head through the door at the southwest part o* the room2

)his time Link %an ump into the water and swim o4er the @lo%ks to the le*t2 Clim@ @a%k

onto onto land and head through the door to the le*t2 )here are some more @lo%ks in the

shallow water here2 Push the @ottom!most @lo%k to the le*t and then push the ada%ent

@lo%k up2 Clim@ the steps and then head up the stair%ase at the top o* the room2

Push the @lo%k to the right and ?ui%kl- run o4er to the northeast %orner o* the room2 Push

the @lo%k out o* the wa- o4er here and then *all down the hole2 When -ou land on the

ledge the orange @lo%ks should @e lowered so walk right a s%reen2 3pen the treasure

%hest here to get the @ig ke-2 Gra@ it and then head @a%k le*t a s%reen2 Fump o** the ledge

and then @a%ktra%k all the wa- to the large %entral %ham@er2

%hest here to get the dungeon item the +ookshot2 )his item allows Link to lat%h onto

o@e%ts in the distan%e pulling himsel* o4er to them or in some %ases pulling small items

towards him2 A*ter a%?uiring the hookshot immediatel- turn to the right and use it on the

skull put on the right side o* the room2 Li*t up the pot on the *ar right to a%?uire a small

ke-2

Clim@ @a%k up the stairs in the %enter o* the room and walk ust north o* the large

treasure %hest2 5a%e northward and use the hookshot to gra@ onto the pots o4er here2 se

the small ke- on the lo%ked door and head up a s%reen2

Walk to the le*t and de*eat the $ed Bari in this area2 Li*t the pot and -ou#ll *ind a *loor

swit%h2 9t won#t sta- down so -ou#ll ha4e to pull the near@- statue onto the swit%h2 )his

opens two doors in the room one right near@- and another on the other side o* the room2

Walk to the right side o* the room and head up through the door on the le*t2 Walk straight

ahead and head down the stairs2

)here are si; @lo%ks lined up in a row in this room2 )he third one *rom the le*t %an @e

pushed to the right and a treasure %hest will appear2 3pen it up to get some rupees2 )here

are a series o* small mouths at the top o* the room where water is *lowing down *rom2 )he

one that is se%ond *rom the right %an @e walked into as it is a se%ret door2 Go through and

then %lim@ up the stairs in the ne;t room2

Walk down a s%reen and then ump into the water2 1wim to the right side o* the room and

%lim@ the ladder2 Li*t the pot here to get a small ke-2 )here are some anno-ing enemies

*loating around in the water that will swim towards the ladder2 You %an use Bom@os Ether

or Kuake to de*eat them2 )here is a %ra%ked wall along the north side o* the room and i*

-ou pla%e a @om@ it will lead to a room that has some e;tra items in%luding two re%o4er-

hearts2 Fump @a%k into the water and then swim all the wa- to the le*t side o* the room2

se the small ke- and head through the door2 Walk up and on%e -ou are read- head

northward to take on the dungeon @oss2

Arrghus is a giant e-e that will ho4er around the room and it is surrounded @- smaller

Arrgi2 Link will *irst need remo4e its la-er o* minions @e*ore taking on the main *orm o*

Arrghus2 eep -our distan%e *rom Arrghus and use -our hookshot to pull o** one Arrgi at a

time2 3n%e it is remo4ed *rom its @od- slash it twi%e with -our sword to de*eat it2 Be

%are*ul though as Arrghus will o%%asionall- send out all the Arrgi to atta%k Link in a %ir%ular

*orm2 eep repeating the pro%ess until all the small Arrgi ha4e @een de*eated2
