HEALTH INSTITUTE.

Page 2: Zebach health institute 2016

The brain nerves which communicate with the entire system are the only medium through which Heaven can communicate to man and affect his inmost life. Whatever disturbs the circulation of the electric currents in the nervous system lessens the strength of the vital powers, and the result is a deadening of the sensibilities of the mind….

Page 3: Zebach health institute 2016

…Intemperance of any kind benumbs the perceptive organs and so weakens the brain-nerve power that eternal things are not appreciated, but placed upon a level with the common. The higher powers of the mind, designed for elevated purposes, are brought into slavery to the baser passions. If our physical habits are not right, our mental and moral powers cannot be strong; for great sympathy exists between the physical and the moral.” Counsels for the Church, Pg.101.

1Cor.6:12-14 [12] All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any ...

1Cor.6:12-14 [13] Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.[14] And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

What are we reading here, is GOD saying that the partaking of meats categorized as temple prostitution? hmmm.

Today we are looking at Health Institute and things that can benefit us in cleansing our bodies of the impurities we take in through the foods we eat. Today we begin to look at an organ in our bodies called “The Liver”.

Page 8: Zebach health institute 2016

The liver is a critical organ which is often overlooked or underestimated. The liver cleanses the body, metabolizes nutrients and processes toxins. It could be seen as the great chemical-processing unit of the body. The Liver is necessary for survival; there is currentl no way to compensate for the absence of liver function in the long term.

Page 9: Zebach health institute 2016

This gland plays a major role in metabolism and has a number of functions in the body such as glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells, plasma protein synthesis, hormone production, and detoxification. If liver health deteriorates, symptoms like fatigue, hormonal imbalance and headaches may begin to appear.

Page 10: Zebach health institute 2016

In essence, proper functioning of your other organs is dependent on healthy liver functioning, leading to the opinion that "you are only as healthy as your liver". It is good to know that many natural herbs that remedy other health conditions are considered "liver- friendly". Research has also identified particular herbs that directly promote liver health and may assist with prevention of cirrhosis, or be of benefit in cases of hepatitis B and C.

Carrots :– it is the high levels of provitamin A in the form of beta-carotene that make carrots a good choice for a healthy liver if the body is able to convert them into vitamin A .A word of caution: some sites recommend high doses of carrot juice as a liver cleanse but too much beta- carotene can actually cause liver toxicity!

Beets:- contain a Phytonutrient called betanin, which has been shown to have a protective effect on liver health. As with many foods, cooking should be kept to a minimum to maintain their health-giving properties.

Page 13: Zebach health institute 2016

Olive Oil :- contains monounsaturated fatty acids that help to reduce the build-up of triglycerides in the liver, reducing the risk of “fatty liver” conditions. Reducing high consumption of fat and soft drinks will also help!

Lemon Juice:- is well-known as a liver cleansing agent. It is recommended that you also cleanse the colon before the liver to avoid toxins remaining in the body.

Page 15: Zebach health institute 2016

Green Tea:- is a source of catechins, another form of antioxidant that helps to maintain a balanced liver function.

Page 16: Zebach health institute 2016

Turmeric :- is high in circumin, which is a strong antioxidant and has been shown to reduce the inflammation that is associated with many chronic diseases.

Page 17: Zebach health institute 2016

Leafy greens :-such as Cabbage and Broccoli – the presence of isothiocyanates contributes to their ability to fight chronic illness such as liver cirrhosis. They also contain a good dose of iodine, helpful for thyroid health.

Avocado :- scientific testing in Japan has shown potent suppression of toxic liver injury in rats, which may indicate its benefit to humans. A more recent study has shown that avocados, when taken with foods high in beta-carotene, help the liver to absorb provitamin A and convert it to vitamin A.

Garlic:- has been used medicinally for many thousands of years for many kinds of illnesses. It has blood cleansing effects, benefits the respiratorysystem and is now indicated to have a protective effect on the liver.

Page 20: Zebach health institute 2016

Spinach :-is high in betaine, an important nutrient that benefits liver function and is therefore valuable in preventing chronic disease.

Prov.16:24 “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.”

Page 22: Zebach health institute 2016

God has bought us, and he claims a throne in each heart. Our minds and bodies must be subordinated to him; and the natural habits and appetites must be made subservient to the higher wants of the soul. But we can place no dependence upon ourselves in this work. We cannot with safety follow our own guidance. The Holy Spirit must renew and sanctify us. In God’s service there must be no half-way work. Those who profess to serve God, and yet indulge their natural impulses, will mislead other souls. Said Christ, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.... This do, and thou shalt live.” Special Testimonies, Series A, #07,Pg. 39

Rev.22:1-4“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.[2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. [3] And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:[4] And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”
