DEPOSIT:

$150 per set of drawings. Deposits will be returned when plans are returned.

OWNER’S RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS:

-Instruction To Bidders - a. FORM: Each proposal shall be submitted on the proposal form in this document. b. DISCREPANCIES: In the case of a difference between the amount written in words

and the amount written in figures, the written words shall govern. c. ENTRIES: Entries shall be legible written in ink or typed. d. MODIFICATIONS: Modifications to the documents or oral proposals shall not be

considered. e. SIGNATURES: All proposals shall be signed by an authorized representative of the

company, and have the full business address written in the appropriate spaces. f. PROPOSAL DELIVERY: Proposals must be delivered prior to the time stipulated in

the “Notice to Bidders.” g. WITHDRAWAL: Any proposal may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled

closing time for receipt of proposals. h. OPENING: Proposals shall be opened at Ogden Flooring and Design in St. George i. AWARD AND REJECTION: The contract will be awarded to the lowest and/or best

qualified, responsible bidder. The Owner will analyze the base bid and the alternates in their selection of a bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informality or technicality in any proposal. All bids shall hold firm for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening.

Bids are to be quoted "All or None" unless otherwise stipulated. A partial quote will be rejected.

j. ADDENDA: All addenda shall become part of the bid documents and be included in

the bid at the time of the bid opening. k. MULTIPLE BIDS: Bidders may not submit more than one bid. l. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE REQUIRED: No proposal will be considered from a

contractor who does not have a valid Utah Contractor's License of the proper category and classification. The successful Contractor shall also obtain a Business License in the city the facility is being constructed in.

m. CONTRACTOR'S INSURANCE: The Contractor shall secure and maintain, during

the life of the contract, Workman's Compensation Insurance and Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance, for all of his or her employees employed at the site of the project.

n. OWNER'S RIGHT RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all

bids for any reason whatsoever. o. VISIT TO THE SITE: Bidders shall visit the site of the work, and shall fully inform
