Zapata's Restaurante Mexicano is named in honor of the great Mexicanrevolutionary Emiliano Zapata 1877?-1919. In 1910, the Indians had lessland than ever before. The workers had no right to strike and the countryhad no real self-government. Congressmen and senators were hand pickedand all opposition was suppressed. Rebellion soon broke out. A toughpeasant leader who wanted land for the Indians rebelled. The rebellioneventually brought about the election of fair government. OLE!
