N O T I F I C A T I O N1. Whereas 33 applications were received by the J&K State Sports Council in response to the Notification dated: 09-01-2014 (appeared in Daily Excelsior dt:- 10-01-2014 ) for allotment of points for proficiency in sports to the applicants appearing in entrance test of MD/MS/PG Diploma & MDS Courses-2013-14 under sports category.2. Whereas the applications were scrutinized by the committee constituted for the purpose on 05-02-2014 & 07-02-2014 at Sports House, M. A. Stadium Jammu in terms of criteria laid down under Govt. No: 808-GAD of 2008 dt:-17-06-2008, 946-GAD of 2008 dt:15-07-2008, 1090-GAD of 2008 dt:14-08-2008 & 733-GAD of 2010 dated: 24-06-2010.3. Whereas twenty five candidates figuring at Sr. No: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30 & 33 of the list as per Annexure A of this notification have been found eligible and points allotted for their proficiency in sports.4. Whereas six candidates figuring at Sr. No: 6, 23, 24. 25, 26, & 31 of the list as per Annexure-A of this notification have also been found eligible for allotment of points subject to confirmation of their participation certificates by respective National Sports Federa-tions/State Association/Sports Officer, Sports Council/production of original certificates as per their affidavits.5. Whereas two candidates appearing at S. No: 8 & 32 of the list as per Annexure-A have not been found eligible by the Committee for reasons shown against each.1. Objections/grievances if any with regard to the allotment of points awarded to the eligible candidates or otherwise are therefore invited which should reach this office at Sports House, M. A. Stadium, Jammu on or before 17-02-2014. Objections/grievances received after the prescribed date shall not be entertained. The decision of the committee set up for the purpose shall be final.
