Why are we going?

• To develop our independence away from home for a night with our friends• To spend time exploring a wild place• To find out about the geography and natural history of our

local area• To inspire our creative writing when we return to school• To develop our social and collaboration skills• To have a new experience and broaden our horizons• As a building block for future residential visits • To have fun!

Cost£40 per child:

£30 overnight in the yurts including food (evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch)£10 additional equipment (cameras, safety equipment, emergency shelter, first aid equipment, ice cream etc)

Dates3rd, 4th and 5th June 2015

Children will be in two groups:

Group 1 will leave school at 3.30pm on Wednesday 3rd June and return by 3.30pm on 4th June.

Group 2 will leave school at 3.30pm on Thursday 4th June and return by 3.30pm on 5th June.

(Please see staff as soon as possible if your child has a commitment on either night and we will do our best to avoid that night away)
