An unforgettable trip to London.
On Thursday, the fourth of February, we started early at 6:30am on our trip to London. After a
jolly journey we visited the National Science Museum where we saw Da Vinci’s model aeroplanes
and all his plans. After a quick supper at ‘Pizza Hut’ we thoroughly enjoyed the musical - ‘Billy
Elliot’. All the characters were amazing - their voices and dancing skills ! After a busy day, we
returned to St Giles hotel to sleep !
On Friday morning, after a hearty breakfast, we visited the Tour of London to see the Crown
Jewells and the ancient armour . Mr Elfyn Lloyd gave us an interesting historical talk. Before
returning home we had the opportunity to spend a little money at Brent Cross shopping centre.
Everybody really enjoyed the trip.
Thanks to all the teachers for arranging the trip and for having fun with us.

The School Eisteddfod
On Tuesday December 22nd a successful Eisteddfod was held at the school. There
were many competitions from the musical solos, recitations, sketches and dancing.
It was also a privilege to welcome the judges Gethin Griffths (a memeber of Band
6), Ifan Davies (Lead Vocal and guitarist from the group Swnami), Anni Llŷn (Welsh
Childrens’ Poet) a Tudur Phillips (a presenter on S4C). Enlli won, with Gwylan coming
second and Tudwal third. Luned Rhys won the Eisteddfod Chair in the literacy
competition and Anni Llŷn the adjudicator was full of praise for her work.
