    * In order to change anything under "Enable Setting, change below parameters" like radio type, esc type

and voltage, you must go under the Setting tab and click on Init Setup. The flight mode under data tab

will now show "Setting Stage", now you can go back into those setting and make the changes and click

send, click get to verify. Afterward you must go back into Setting tab and "Quit Setup" your flight mode

will go back to Manual. NOTE* In order to perform this task, you your radio must be connected and

    properly bound to your receiver.

    3. - Throttle/Arming motors:

    * To arm motor, please use double stick combination, rudder left, aileron right. Motor will disarm after

a few seconds if throttle is below 10%.

Note* during a event where pilot need to regain full control, put CH1 back to position 1 will override all

flight mode to manual. But remember to put CH6 back to position 1 before flying again. Do not leave

CH6 in position 3 (back landing) and try to fly it.

    6. - Phone/Tablet as HotSpot

    * When using your phone/tablet or a hot spot, the IP on your device must be set to 192.168.0.1 ,

otherwise it will not work. Normally to do this you must go into your hotspot setting and click Menu on your

device to bring up the advance tap then change the IP.

    6. Wifi SSID/password change: by mindjamz on RCgroups.* I didn't see this in the thread anywhere and wanted to post it for anyone who is concerned about

using a well known key with their YS-X6. I changed mine this morning using the following steps. Do so atyour own risk, I'm not responsible if you brick your wifi module, etc...

    1. Get everything connected and working. If the phone or whatever device you're using can't see the YS-

    X6, this won't help you.

    2. Connect to the YS-X6 using a web browser @http://192.168.1.254and click the English language

option at the top of the page unless you can read Chinese. Use "admin" for the login and password.

    3. Click Setup

    4. Scroll down to Wireless and change the SSID and psk (pre-shared key) value to whatever you want.

    5. Click Save

    6. Disconnect and reconnect power to the YS-X6.

    7. Reconfigure your phone and/or access point to match this information and connect to the YS-X6 with

    the app.

You can also change the user name and password needed to access the web interface. If you do this,

don't forget to update the phone app with the same credentials (in the Set menu option on Android).

    7. Manual/Attitude/GPS mode

    * You should bench test all switches and verify your Flight mode status before test flying. However

because of bench testing, when you switch from manual (throttle at half) to attitude hold/gps hold, over

the next 5-10s the motors could slowly shut down, this is because the IMU is not sensing any altitude

change. This is not to worry about, it will not shut down in flight.
