  • Congrats to FBLA for winning Silver Chapter of the Year!Hannah Boyd Business level of BAAAaron Williams Leader level of BAA; 4th pllace as individual in Banking & Financial Services and will go to Orlando this summer! Aaron and Aysiah King were 9th in state for B&FS. Aaron was 7th in state for FBL.

  • Congrats to JV baseball on their win over Calvary on 3/14! 9th grade ended in a tie due to darkness.

    JV & 9th grade will practice immediately after school on March 15.

  • Congrats to Rebel Tennis! For the first time ever, the boys beat Screven County!Garrett Craig (#1 singles) won 6-0, 6-1Taylor Merritt won 6-1, 7-5Ryan Arrington won 7-6, 6-4Timmy Nixon & Hunter Smith won 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.

  • Colson Lee and Miles Exley won at number two doubles.

  • Tryouts for both Game and Competition Cheerleading will be held April 4-8 from 3:45-5:30 at the old middle school gym. All paperwork is available in the front office. Need a current physical on file. Students must also meet academic, attendance, and disciplinerequirements in order to tryout.

  • Congrats to the boys and girls track teams for their second place finish in Statesboro on March 12!Tim Jackson won pole vault and set a school record! Mitchell Bland was second in pole vault. Michael Hamilton won high jump. Eli Youmans was second in triple jump

  • Derek Padmore won discus and shotput. Tim Jackson finished second in 800. Jesse Campbell was second in the 3200 and 1600.Riley Morrison won 3200 and 1600. Brianna Armstrong was second in long jump. Shakira McCarr finished second in high jump. Ashley Johnson was second in 300m hurdles. Courtney Sizemore was second in pole vault.

  • Congrats to the FFA Senior Poultry Judging Team for finishing fifth out of 62 teams on March 12! Sabriena Mincey 7th overall, Nick Martin, Tayler Weaver.

  • Congratulations to ECHS FFA Member Shane Rahn, who has advanced to the state round for his Wildlife Mgmt Placement Proficiency. He will be interviewed during GA State FFA Convention in April and compete against FFA members from across the state. Shane will be competing for the opportunity to represent Georgia in the National Competition in October.

  • Shane Rahn was also named the Central Region Star in Agricultural placement and he will compete in the Stars Over Georgia Parade at GA FFA State Convention for the chance to be named the Georgia Star in Agricultural Placement.

  • FFA Members- we are now accepting applications for next year's chapter officers. See Satterfield or Mrs. Arrington to get one. Applications are due March 25.

  • Forms for attending FFA Summer Camp and State FFA Convention are available. See Satterfield or Mrs. Arrington.

  • A HUGE congratulations to the girls soccer team for their victory over SEHS on 3/8. Suzannah Stone netted the game tying goal in regulation off of an assist from Jillian Nance

  • Then in penalty kicks, Savannah Epperley, Afton Landrum, and Jillian Nance all scored while Morgan Smith sealed the win with two huge saves.

  • Congrats to boys soccer for beating SEHS on 3/8 in sudden death overtime! Jon Slater scored and Colby Pearce had 13 saves at keeper.
