The event will be at Let’s Skate at 14207 West Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, 34787 – 407-614-3812. It is only $6 per person for SJCS families including skates. FYI: Tickets are purchased at the rink and Let’s Skate is a CASH ONLY admission and vending establishment. Don’t forget your pre-ordered 2014-2015 yearbook will be available for pick up at this event. In addition, limited quantities of the yearbook will be available for purchase. It’s now available through scrip in ScripNOW and physical gift cards. **Scrip Thankscripping Day 5/11 – THIS MONDAY! Great way to get extra rebate back. Be sure to check it out when you are ordering your scrip for our 5/12 order…just in time! Presto Pay? How do I do that again? Here’s the info… Keep ordering scrip all summer long with Presto Pay (well – most scrip – sorry no Publix). It’s a great way to maximize your scrip rebate, as you will be able to buy Scrip Now. Scrip Now are cards that can be bought and printed right from home, or from your smart phone at the store. There’s even an App for that (of course) called MyScripWallet which keeps track of all of your ScripNow purchases and makes paying with your phone easy! Presto Pay is a convenient way to pay for your Scrip orders when we start processing orders next school year (or our summer order). Every time you place an order with Scrip and pay with Presto Pay, Great Lakes Scrip will automatically debit your checking account for the cost of your order, plus 15 cents. The $.15 is charged once per order, no matter how many cards you get or how much the order costs. Here’s how you sign up… Click on the “PrestoPay” link on the www.shopwithscrip.com Dashboard Enter your bank account and account holder information Within 2-3 business days, Great Lakes Scrip will deposit two small amounts in your bank account. DUKE UNIVERSITY TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM 7th Grade Talent Search We would like to offer our congratulations to our students who qualified to participate in the highly-selective Duke University Talent Identification Program 7th Grade Talent Search. These students all qualified by attaining excellent Iowa Assessment Scores during their 6th grade year with us. These students were given the opportunity to take the ACT or SAT early as a part of the benefits package:

DISNEY DREAMER AND DOER ESSAY COMPETITION For the past 15 years we have participated in this excellent essay writing competition. The students who write these essays have to exemplify the “Four C’s” mentioned by Walt Disney himself. They are curiosity, confidence, courage, and constancy. We select one student from grades 3rd-5th and one from grades 6th-8th. Please join St. James in congratulating this year’s winners, Finn Magley (4th gr.) and Luke Metcalf (8th gr.)!

IOWA ASSESSMENT SCORES The Iowa Scores will be mailed this week. We are very proud of our students’ results!
