Luke 6:47-48 “For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words (in order to heed their teaching) and does them, I will show you what he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a fl ood arose the torrent broke against that house and could not shake or move it, because it had been securely built or founded on a rock.”

Many times in a prayer line, I have sensed the healing anointing of God go into

people, as I touch them, much like the account of healing that happened in the ministry of Jesus when a woman who had an issue of blood.

When she reached out in faith, and touched Jesus, virtue, power, or the anointing of God fl owed out of Jesus and into her, and she was healed.

You see Jesus felt the healing anointing of God fl ow out of Him. When that hap-pend, he stopped, and asked who touched him?

When she told all what had hap-pened, Jesus turned and said to her “Daugh-ter thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace.” (Luke 8:48)

You can always tell when faith is in operation, for faith will draw upon the healing anointing of God. In the case of the women with the issue of blood,

her faith made a demand on the power of God, and she received the POWER to heal her body.

These same people we pray for, who like that woman, make a demand by faith, receive an awesome display of the power of God, and walk away healed and restored to health!

But these same individuals fi nd themselves a few hours or weeks later dealing with the same symp-toms before they were prayed for.

What happened? They were healed, every symptom was gone. Why did the sickness come back?

In Luke 6:47-48, Jesus de-scribed the man who built his house on the rock, and when the fl ood came, it could not be shaken, or moved. It stood, and overcame the fl ood.

But in verse 49, Jesus describes a man who did not build his house on the rock, instead he built it on sand. When that same storm came, the house fell immediately, and great was the destruction of the house.

When our house of healing is built, what are we building it upon?

Sand is shifty, it moves and it is unstable.

When God moves soverignly to heal you through the manifesta-tion of His Glory, it is simply to point you to His Word, to Jesus, Who is the Word made fl esh. (John 1:14) Jesus and His Word are to be the source of our faith.

Yes its true, sometimes you will see a manifestation of healing based on someone else’s faith who’s praying for you, but thats

not a foundation to build your house of healing on either.

If you don’t have your foundation rooted in the Word of God con-cerning healing, chances are you will loose the manifestation of that healing.

You will be like the man who built his house on the sand. The fl ood came and destroyed it.

The fl ood here, can be an ana-lagy of when the storms of life come crashing in on you.

For example when the storm of sickness and its symptoms come crashing in on your life, how are you going to defend yourself against them.

Are you going to stand on some-thing that is imovable, strong, and sure? Or are you going to going to stand on something that is temorary and is constantly changing, such as the oppions of man.

You see Gods Word is the source of the rock in Luke 6:47-48.

We must build our house on “THE ROCK”. We must get to know the Lord and what He has said in His Word.

Smith Wigglesworth said, “I can’t understand God by feelings. I can’t understand Jesus Christ by my feel-ings. I understand God by what the Word says about Him. He is every thing the Word says He is. Get to know the Lord through His Word.”

We must build our house of heal-ing on the Word of God. When we know by revelation that “By His stripes ye were healed” (1 Pe-ter 2:24), and when we know by revelation that “Surely He has borne our diseases and carried our pains..” (Isaiah 53:4), and when we know by revelation “Himself took our infi rmities, and bare our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17), then sickness and disease will not have any control over us.

When we begin operating in these principles, and the storm of symp-toms come, we will not be fi lled with the sands of shitfting opinions, or experiances, but with revelation

of Gods Word.

Be ready for the counter attack, for it will come. Satan will chal-lenge what God has done in your life. When the devil comes with his counter attack you can sim-ply say, “Devil, you have been beaten! You have lost, now get out of here with that sickness of yours!” And you know what, he will.

As brother Kenneth Hagin said, “Keep your switch of faith turned on”.

Learn to stand with your shield of faith in front of you, which quench-es all the fi ery darts of the evil one, and KEEP YOUR HEALING today.

Salvation Healing!“When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.... But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins...I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house” (Mark 2:5,10-11).

Before leaving home, I received a wire telling me that I should go to Liver-

pool. There was a woman with

cancer and gallstones who was down with much discouragement. If I know God is sending me, my faith rises. God sent me to her.

The woman said, “I have no hope.”

“Well,” I said, “I have not come from Bradford to go back home with a bad report.”

God said to me, “Establish her in the fact of the new birth.”

When she had the assurance that her sin was gone and she was born again, she said, “That (sal-vation) is everything to me. Can-cer is nothing now. I have Jesus!”

The battle was won. God deliv-ered her. She was free from sin and disease. She got up, dressed and was happy in Jesus.

4 Your Voice of HealingHealing Principle When God speaks, it is as a nail in a sure place.Will you believe? Pray this prayer today: Jesus, You are my salvation and my healing. I believe that You alone can set me free from sin and sickness. Amen. Healed By His Word “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Ps. 107:20). Now there are some people here for healing; maybe some want salvation; maybe oth-ers want sanctifi cation and the baptism of the Spirit. Healing Principle You can be healed if you will hear the Word. This Word says it is by faith that it might be by grace. Grace is omnipotence. It is activity, be-nevolence and mercy. It is truth,

perfection and God’s inheritance in the soul that can believe.

God gives us a negative side. What is it? It is by faith. Grace is God. You open the door by faith, and God comes in with all you want. It cannot be otherwise, for it is, “of faith that it might be by grace” (Rom. 4:16). It cannot be by grace unless you say it shall be so. This is believing, and most people want healing by feeling. It cannot be. Some even want salvation on the same line, and they say, “Oh, if I could feel I was saved, brother!” It will never come that way. Pray this prayer today: Almighty God, help me set aside my own thoughts and feelings for Thy truth. By Thy Word, not my feelings, I am healed. Hallelu-jah!
